I obviously don't know how everybody's situation works just myself and the tons of women that I know. We are typically in Disney fairytale mode when we get married. Especially someone Sonya's age. Things weren't as jaded as they are now. And then at some point, even when our Prince is treating us really well, we find out that they're committing adultery on us. It is the most heartbreaking experience for a woman who truly loves and believes in her husband. This is the part that I think many males who have been married or men who have never been married don't understand. Sure, we might go along with it the first because our husbands beg us to. Everything in us wants to believe it was one & done. You probably won't believe that if you've never been married to someone you actually pursued and cared about. But by the second time we are done but we are just there broken and even as you guys sometimes call us... bitter... That is if we get through the second time. If you listen to some of Stephs early interviews, you can tell he knew some things about his parents marriage. Like a lot of men, not just NBA players, there's a lot of infidelity and she obviously just stayed but was an awesome Mom. She raised & home schooled those kids. And yes obviously Dale played a role as a great provider but when you love a man, even if you don't share the heartbreak with your kids, they see/feel it & can resent the person who hurt their Mom....especially a loving son. His Mom is more than likely his "first love". I'm not saying any of this to offend you are to suggest you males should consider that females are really.sensitive no matter how they come off...and eventually her love can grow cold. I know alot of today's males act as if that doesn't matter...especially when a husband supposedly has money but trust me it's not the same for all of us. Money is truly near meaningless when you love. Also know that when a woman tries to overcome the insecure feelings that come over her when her husband lays & buys for other women, she may eventually start secretly dating...not even having sex. No matter what when he finds out, all hell breaks loose. You can't even believe it when it happens because you came to believe he no longer cared. It's sad & crazy & I know in today's times no consideration will be lent to both sides. It's sad this had to go public.
