    I have a key lime in a ceramic coffee cup that has a crinkle leaf decoration on it. I water it when dry and it is happy. It has not grown much but is still thriving.
    I also have a mystery adromischus that is thriving and actually growing a bit.
    Thanks to you, I now know what it is.

    I've one and love it! It's just so cute! Bought mine from Urban Outfitters and managed to get mine to good health as it was kind of dull and thin looking, now my leaves and plump and shinny and it's growing new ones!

    7:59 what are those white crumbly looking stuff in the soil? Ive never had a plant before till now and google image search says its the key lime pie one.Ive been watering it every 10 dys and had it for 4 months now i also live in hot weather its still alive though..Btw can i leave it in the very small pot it came in forever or will i have to move it to a bigger pot or it will die?I also have it in the window sill i thought that be good for it or am i wrong?

      The white crumbly thing is called perlite. They keep the soil fast draining. You can leave it in the small pot until they are twice the size of the pot then the root will have nowhere to go and they will soon rot and the plant will die. If you like the pot, you can leave one baby in it and plant the rest in a bigger planter. Hope this helps

    Great information, I have a small the Key Lime Pie and it is way too cute. I'm looking forward to watching it grow to see what it does size wise. I have one leaf propagating and I'm so, so excited about it!

    Mine is going black, leaf by leaf. Is it overwatered?

    • @SucculentSoul7
      @SucculentSoul7  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dyeni Most likely. Or there is mold and fungus. Is the soil damp? if so, then replant it in dry and loose draining soil to save it, if it’s even salvageable

      Soul Sugar Succulent, yup the soil is damp causing the succulent to be overwatered. Thanks for the advice! Ill be careful next time.

    Needs more sun light to make it turn red. But not enough to burn it.

  • @RedRona7
    @RedRona7 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Will survive in low light?

    • @SucculentSoul7
      @SucculentSoul7  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Succulents in general like any other plant will naturally stretch where the light is so your best bet would be aloes because of strong and firm leaves. This plant will need at least 4 hours of sunlight.

    I bought a key lime plant and it had an antenna growing from the top with little flowers. However the antenna died :( if I clip the dead antenna off will a new one grow

    • @SucculentSoul7
      @SucculentSoul7  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mary Fuentes yes it’s actually a flower stalk, you can snip that off it’s good for the plant because flower stalks take energy from the main plant. the plant will flower every season, but for the plant to stay healthy you have to snip it off.

    How to propagate them by leaves.

    • @SucculentSoul7
      @SucculentSoul7  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      KREATIVE GARDENER It is possible but it takes soooo long! Better to do it by cuttings

    • @krishnakant3640

      Soul Sugar Succulent I wish I could it got a rot and I had to remove rest of uprooted leaves

    • @krishnakant3640
      @krishnakant3640 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      How long any estimate?

    • @SucculentSoul7
      @SucculentSoul7  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      KREATIVE GARDENER I’m so sorry to hear that 😩. I’m not sure how long but let me put it to you this way... you have to have a lot of patience. However, if you don’t have much patience, you’re better off propagating via cutting or babies. This plant is quick to make babies, esp in colder weather, but not freezing weather.

      @krishnakant3640 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      So in cold they grow faster ???
