What a season so far. Utterly magic. Disney or Apple would be falling over themselves to keep this show.

Please don't change. The 3rd season was already trying to change and become more mainstream and that was not a good idea. All that heavy sarcasm from that incredibly beautiful yet prepotent character of Charlie Burke really changes the atmosphere to be more like Star trek Picard (which just utterly sucks), not to mention all the excessive violence. The Orville is loved by Star Trek fans because it has its own unique take on the old Star Trek The Next Generation and other awesome sci-fi shows which are all about family and adventure. I'm not trying to sound corny but that's essentially what it is. There's no sense of family in the new Start Trek shows or even the Mandalorian which SUCK. I mean they just SUCK MAN, COME ON, you know they such and why they suck. In these other new shows, the scenes are always dark and full of unnecessarily witty remarks that are unnecessarily arrogant to say the least and project a sense that people hate each other (also the unnecessary excessive violence). That is not very cool and it has become a fastidious tendency in American television and Cinema (thankfully not so much in Art Cinema at least). My dad and I almost stopped watching the 3rd season because of how annoying and insufferable the character of Charlie was. I mean, stage whatever background and reasons you want to make her so rude and condescending, but at the end of the day she just comes off as a very annoying B. Please bring back the more chill and awesome atmosphere (WHICH NO ONE ELSE IN THE ENTIRETY OF ALL STREAMING SERVICES OFFERS TODAY [mind you]) AND just keep in mind that the Orville is even more Star Trek than Star Trek is now. It's kind of how the Toyota Prius is closer to what a true electric car should be than even the Tesla Model 3 because it's not driver-centric or sporty but rather completely in sync with the environment in every way that matters. People love star trek because it's all about dreaming of a better future for humanity, while at the same time, exploring the possibilities in the Universe beyond us. Don't forget that. Anything else is just bullshit spewed by producers and people who are after money alone. The irony is that doing the right thing you makes you more money. And yes producers can make stupid decisions. Look at the results over at Paramount +. Peace
