- Scott Grimes is a great friend and an incredible actor. I first met him when I was recording American Dad back in the early 2000s. In this episode, he reveals that he won a Tony award when he was nine years old, which led him to LA and a fantastic film and television career. He has starred in things like ER, Party of Five, Band of Brothers, the Orville, Oppenheimer, and the Ted series on Peacock. We tell tales of shitting, both purposefully and accidentally, being nervous and possibly ejaculating while wrapped in cellophane for seven hours on the set of Dexter. Scott is a true inspiration.
Plus, at our intermission, you will see a Clio award-winning commercial I made with my brother, Patrick, for a friend's restaurant in Richmond, VA. You'll recognize the young fella with a full head of hair. Enjoy.

We need more Scott Grimes! "Lasting Impressions" is easily one of the best episodes of The Orville yet alone TV. Who knew that when I was kid watching "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear" that I would be watching such a talented induvial in their early days. Crazy.
Scott being so humble about his acting. Meanwhile he gave some of the greatest performances on all of ER. And yes, I stand by that statement. funny or serious. He’s one of my top favorite characters.
Great interview. Scott is so likeable and so natural. Funny I always think Mystery Alaska, Robin Hood, Republic of Doyle and then flashbacks of Who's The Boss and one episode of Star Trek: Next Generation.
It kills me a little bit inside that most people don't know who these 2 wonderfully talented men are :(

I've recently started watching these episodes, and it's better than pretty much every other podcast.
I really enjoyed this one, i always thought his steve voice never matched his face, one of those voices you just don't see coming from him in my opinion lol. also loving the old commercials with you as an ad break.

I'm sure it is probably the lighting, because Seth McFarlane looked similar, but Mike appears jaundiced in this footage. I apologize if he is fighting a medical battle behind the scenes and I am out of the loop.
I hated how Family Guy shitted so much on Cleveland Show. I liked it immensely. Not every episode, but come on. I thought the jokes were incredibly fresh. I loved the GG Allin bit. I don't know why everyone hated it. It should have been on maybe ten years earlier though, taste-wise. Because it is touchy stuff.
