RHYS JONES Hey Rhys, thanks mate! Just use a GoPro Hero 3 mounted to my front window using the official GoPro suction mount. I tried it with some third party ones, but the official one had been the best.

Yeah, I might have to buy a few more batteries for my gopro, and maybe a couple more micro SD cards because I live about 1000km away, but I might do the timelapse in 4k ;)
RHYS JONES For in the car, just use the 12V adapter or USB port if your car has one directly plugged into the GoPro. At 4K you'll chew through cards tho :)
