If you want to achieve the Nirwana, you should be ready for war and fight, prepare yourself for an arduous battle, as the path to enlightenment demands unwavering determination. You need a sword with a blade of unparalleled sharpness, a weapon fit for the struggle that lies ahead. In simply a sword sharp enough to fight. Samadhi meditation, akin to the honed edge of a formidable sword, holds the potential to unlock the gates to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th realms. It embodies the essence of a weapon capable of piercing through the veils of ignorance.
Yet, possessing a keen-edged sword alone is insufficient if one remains unaware of the art of wielding and fighting with such a weapon. Mastery in combat is the key to triumph in this war of self-transcendence. Furthermore, it is crucial to acknowledge that the techniques of meditation leading to the gates of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are not bestowed solely by the revered Buddha himself. They have been crafted and refined through generations, embodying the collective wisdom of those who have traversed this transformative path before us. In the bygone era, amidst the enchanting realms, both ආලාර කාලාම and උද්දකරාම පුත්ත emerged as paragons of mastery in their chosen domain. They stood unrivalled, their expertise shimmering like ethereal stars, casting a radiant glow upon the annals of history. (Legend has it that both possessed the extraordinary capability to alter the very rotation of our planet. However, in a world where truth and myth intertwine, I am left to ponder whether history, at times, weaves tales that deviate from reality's tapestry.)
Having assimilated a plethora of techniques and wisdom, Siddhartha, the seeker of truth, reached a profound realization that victory in the war waged within was unattainable through these means alone. Even as he transcended the 4th gates and ascended to the ethereal Sky Gates, he recognized the persistent adversaries lurking deep within his being, impervious to external conquest. Thus, Siddhartha embarked on an inward odyssey, delving into the depths of self-discovery, where meditation became his sword of sharpness and introspection became his skills of wielding the sword. With steadfast determination, he confronted and vanquished the formidable foes that resided within. In the aftermath of his triumph, a desire arose within him to seek out his former teachers, to express gratitude and share the wisdom gained from his arduous journey. Alas, fate had conspired against him, and the sands of time had already consumed their mortal presence. Nevertheless, even the revered Buddha himself held them in the highest regard, paying homage to their influence and contributions to the path of enlightenment.
The essence of victory lies not solely within the sharpness of the sword, but rather in the artistry and finesse with which it is wielded upon the battlefield. It is a profound testament to the intricacies of combat, where prowess intertwines with strategy, and where the heart's courage melds with the mind's wisdom. For in this eternal conflict, the measure of triumph is not gauged by the sharpness of the sword, but by the virtuosity with which each stroke is executed. Thus, let it be known that the grandeur of victory resides not in the mere possession of a sharpened blade, but in the depths of one's spirit and the resilience of their resolve, painting a masterpiece upon the canvas of battle, where and strategy unite in a harmonious symphony of triumph. Amidst the tumultuous clash of blades, the profundity of triumph transcends the mere sharpness of one's sword, for it is the artistry of combat, the finesse in wielding that becomes the catalyst of victory.
If you haven't reached the "SOWAN" state through "Vidharshana" and you're attempting to surpass the fourth gate, caution is advised, as excessive sharpening of the sword may lead to self-inflicted wounds. It's important to be aware that there is a possibility of becoming addicted. During extended periods of meditation, it is possible to go without sleep or food, and will not feel pain in your body. If you dare to tamper with the sanctity of the original meditation methods bestowed by the learned, a tapestry of senses may unravel, revealing dimensions unseen, where the veils between realms grow translucent, granting glimpses into otherworldly vistas.
Within the sacred realm of meditation, the pilgrimage towards mastery unfolds with a timeless grace, requiring the embrace of the boundless tapestry of time itself, where the passage of decades, centuries, or even an entire lifetime becomes the revered brushstroke that paints the portrait of a true adept. Yet, in the contemplation of time's ceaseless flow, a poignant question arises, If you are not wasting time to reach the state of "SOWAN" and if you can not reach the state of "SOWAN", why expend precious moments venturing beyond the confines of the fourth gate? To what end does such a pursuit be
In this sacred space of "Vidharshana" meditation, bathe in the luminosity of the present moment, where insights blossom like delicate flowers, and profound wisdom reveals itself with graceful elegance. Embrace this practice with patience and devotion, for the true essence of "Vidharshana" lies not in attainment, but in the exquisite journey of self-discovery and awakening. May your path be adorned with the celestial light of "Vidharshana" meditation, guiding you ever closer to the luminous truth that resides within.

Simply put, the meditations that lead one through the gates of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and beyond, were not directly imparted by the esteemed Buddha himself. Rather, these profound methods were meticulously crafted and honed through generations preceding the enlightened era of the revered Buddha. Nirvana cannot be attained by venturing beyond the fourth gate or through the pursuit of "Aakasha Vinchanaya."
Engaging in such practices will only merely diminish your senses. That is why Siddhartha chose to depart from the teachings of "ආලාර කාලාම" and "උද්දකරාම පුත්ත". If you are able to meditate up to the fourth gate, you should encourage to explore the practice of Vidharshana meditation.
If you are in the state of "Aakasha Vinchanaya." you will sense your inner soul (Vinchanaya) will go up to the sky. But when you are meditating Vidharshan, it goes to the centre of your body. You will feel like compressing air to one single point. The only difference between Samatha Meditation and Vidharshan Meditation is that the result of Samatha Meditation is temporary, while the result of Vidharshan Meditation is permanent. If you have tried, you will know it. Because it is permanent, you do not need to meditate. Because every moment in your life becomes your meditation.
