It's amazing to me that he is so calm and shy and soft spoken in interviews and then on stage he is like a beast full of power lol it really is like he is 2 different people 😂😍 the power of the music!!
If you notice, he always talks about God and says the songs come to him in a divine way, that God makes them and it comes to him, he ALWAYS said that in every interview even in 1983 when he was at his family home, he was very spiritual, I'm actually not very spiritual myself but I think that's such a beautiful way to put it, he waa always very humble and never gave credit to himself ❤

I love this ❤ Seph actually Michael never made songs to get "1 million dollars" and that's it, he actually wanted to touch lives, he wanted to change the world. "Politics can't save the world, so the music people should at least try," "I could never just make records for people to buy and just get rich from. That's no good to me. There has to be more than that." - Michael said in a 1979 interview with Blues & Soul.
Michael was actually very shy personally and did not like to do interviews very much, he was private that's why there's so many few interviews during this time, he wanted a little privacy cause he was literally the most famous person on the planet, that made the media come up with such rificulous stories, but yes you're right he was way more comfortable and free when he was at his home in that interview, this interview was actually very respectful and decent compared to the later ones who would only talk less and less about his music and creative process, which only made him hate doing them even more because pretty much everyone who interviewed him was rude and asked stupid questions like if he "wished he was black again" 🙄
Other good interviews in my opinion are: 1999 with MTV; 2003 with Brett Ratner; 2005 with Geraldo Rivera. And I find the 1993 deposition in Mexico very interesting. Michael talks for over 3 hours about his art and the process of creating his songs. Very fascinating. Above all, I admire how calm he remains throughout.

Amazing reaction Seph!🔥 The interviewer is Darryl Dennard and this is one of the last good interviews he did unfortunately😔 From the Dangerous Era onwards, some interview questions will be truly ridiculous (especially because in 1993 he will be accused of sexual abuse for the first time😔). Cant wait for the other interview! Thats reeeaaaally good too!🔥
I think the major difference between us and him is that we probably come up with songs and tunes throughout our lives too. But he just has the talent to actually act on it haha
@@SephPlaysyeah I think the craziest thing is that he literally heard the rhythm the guitar the bass and everything in his head first before actually recording, the guy literally could beatbox and arrange the whole thing in his head I mean I would say VERY FEW of us could actually do that 😂 it's fascinating to learn about his creative process and I can't wait for you to get there! There are some very interesting interviews about that, though what really goes in depth is actually a deposition he gave cause some people were suing saying that he "stole" their songs lol just ridiculous (they always lost lol unsurprisingly)

Hi Steph. Well glad you enjoyed this interview and youf reaction was great as always. But like most people have said im afraid the interviewers questions in years ahead are not great. But he does clarify the elephant bones rumour in a later interview. Also so sad to hear that you get horiible comments said to you, unfortunately there are hose people who cant see other people be happy ,successful or whatever it is. Keep positive.!❤
Oh this is a nice interview, never seen it before, it's nice to watch these to get into his mind and know who was the man behind the music, really interesting
I love how he says "pardon", his voice is soo soothing, I love how like transparent he is how he talks about his feelings that sometimes it hurts seeing stories that were written and how he thanks God when he sees a sunset or a baby's smile ❤ I think John Landis the director of Thriller said that Michael wore his heart on his sleeve and I also love how humble he was saying that he couldn't do much better if he did a remake of the elephant man story 😊 I wish they weren't so mean to him.. Michael was very sensitive :(
Michael seems like the most calm person in every video I see even when confronted with those allegations although he was always assertive that nothing inappropriate ever happened he was still polite, I feel like you'd have to reaaallyyy push his buttons to make him angry lol I've never seen him being disrespectful to anyone and that's what people very close to him like his bodyguards say as well
I’m so sorry to hear about the negative comments you have received. You do not deserve that. You are by far my favorite reactor and I look forward to hearing your voice (your accent is awesome) and seeing your enthusiasm for the new music and artists you are being exposed to. Please keep going. Your efforts are GREATLY APPRECIATED! 🙏🤗💚
It was nice to revisit this interview. I’m wondering if you plan on reacting to the Bad 25 documentary? It covers each songs/videos’ creative process with a lot of behind the scenes footage and interviews of people that worked with him.
I’ve come from your Depeche Mode videos (which I’ve been binging), and I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve been getting hurtful comments. You seem like such a nice, genuine person, and you don’t deserve them. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for your videos. It’s been so fun reliving all of my Depeche Mode memories and seeing your reactions to them. And it’s neat that you’re also a Michael Jackson fan too!
They used to scare me, not so much now but I've had many death threats and such. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who HATE you having your own opinion. I say i don't like a song and all of a sudden I'm being threatened 😢
Although alot of mj fans dont like the ophrah interview including myself i highly recommend you watch it because mj explains himself very well in that one and is more open i should say 1993 one
What's crazy is that I believe Michael was objectively stunning here. Yet the criticisms of his appearance started right after he bought The Beatles catalog in the mid-80s, so by this point his appearance was constantly belittled. If you look at articles and headlines from the Bad era, he is already being referred to as weird looking and a freak. I remember how shocked I was when I first became a fan. Here I was sweating and panting at the sight of this man lol and yet, somehow the media at the time acted as if there was something seriously wrong with his appearance. It is a real trip to look at that stuff. He's like some kind of alternate reality. It's like being gaslit. It's clear the man is gorgeous, but they weren't allowed to say it or something
Good interview! The interviewer seemed actually interested in what he had to say and showed empathy and respect unlike many others! Seph I'm curious what's your top 5 like your favorite songs by Michael so far?
I think i'm going to save that for its own video once i've heard all his albums :D And yes it's nice to have a *good* interview! You got to respect talent in my opinion! But soooooooooooo many don't know how to give that respect....
@@SephPlays oh Seph I'm gonna die from curiosity!! 😂 but that's the right thing to do it's just gonna take a loong time to get there but that's ok! Yess!! I mean he is incredibly talented and the King of Pop for a reason and nobody can take that away!! ❤
Yeah he did not like how he looked because of his father, he always teased him saying that he had a "big nose", that's why he had surgeries unfortunately he could never see the beauty in himself 😢😢 how could he really with the whole media making fun of him for how he looked later on :(
This interview is among the most respectful towards MJ where the questions are not awful (except the war part 😄). But seriously the best interviews about MJ's musical process are deposition videos from a bogus plagiarism case. Thanks to this moronic claim MJ was thoroughly interviewed and it's a gem to see for any fan.
I am sorry you get stupid/hateful comments, even emails :-( 100 a week, that is a lot to me ... Yeah, Michael was very strong (with all the negativity he got from tabloids and jealous people in the industry) and people often do not recognize this, because Michael also was a very sensitive and emotional person. He was honest and also naive about certain aspects of life. Not stupid, but naive in the way very likeable people sometimes are, thinking just the best of all people and not being able to really grasp the concept of hate.
Believe it or not, he actually didn’t do anything to try and change his looks, other than try and look as normal as possible due to having vitiligo, lupus, and being a burn victim, he got zero plastic surgery.
Don't care seph about the negative comments because we are showering u with the good ones ❤️ And honestly, people always talk wether if u do good or bad stuff or even don't do anything.. they always judgemental .... sooo what we're gonna do is to ignore them unless if there a criticism only in this case we should think about it 😊😊😊 So don't be sad , remember that all the bad things the person get through even if the pin prick is a test from above (god ) and u will be rewarded about it 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you Esraa my friend! It's the good comments that keep me coming back to TH-cam, without them i would completely stop. It's the reason i started putting videos on TH-cam in the first place as it's a way of talking to people about subjects that i enjoy and i get to meet amazing people like you and chat with them :D
Esraa i have to ask you two questions: 1) I still gotta watch the Thriller 40 documentary and since you watched it already, are there spoilers for Seph? 2) In your opinion, is it better if he reacts to the Thriller 40 documentary first or the Bad 25 documentary first? Because Bad 25 obviously came out before but Bad came out after Thriller so what is better in your opinion?
@@AlexSR__ hi, I know you didn't ask me but I think he should stick with Bad 25, there is nothing really new, I was actually looking forward to seeing but honestly in my opinion it was reeally disappoining, I don't even know if Seph should watch it, just lacked depth, no mention of Vincent Price whatsoever, it was all over the place. It was good seeing the unseen footage of Michael and the tapes but seriously it was sooo little amount of footage and there are things that are literally on youtube like one tape they put in there there's literally footage of that on youtube from years ago and if you compiled all the actual NEW UNSEEN bits they put in there, it would be like 4 minutes max. They didn't talk about P.Y.T and Lady In My Life at all and showed more of these random celebrities who weren't even part of the whole project than Michael himself, the impact and history of this album just CANNOT be covered in 90 MINUTES, like it should have been 2 hours and a half AT THE VERY LEAST and this new guy they chose isn't even an artist or a movie director he is literally a critic historian who as far as I know didn't even really like Michael in the first place. I really don't know why the estate didn't just let Spike Lee direct this, he would have done A FAAR better job, literally it's THE BEST SELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIME and this is all you got??? They could have done a lot better.
@@AlexSR__ I'm sorry I'm just very passionate about MJ so it was reeally frustrating to me as a fan for 30+ years the making of Thriller doc was better. From what I've been reading a lot of fans think the same. But this is just MY OPINION of course. Feel free to share your opinion as well!!
@@AlexSR__ hey Alex how are u 🌹🌹? 1)yeah they're some spoilers about the people that Michael inspired so the showed different songs in comparison u know . 2) here is my opinion about the documentary, it's good and i loved it but it disappointed me tbh because i excepted it to be on the same level of bad documentary and it will show us the making of every song but it wasn't like that unfortunately . the most of it was about how Michael broke the barriers and the MTV story and the pepsi accident , there are some songs in the album they didn't talk about... so as moonwalker i expected something more but most of it was analyzing the elements of success not telling behind the scenes and stuff.... So in my opinion we continue with your list and leave this documentary for different occasion u know ( as it seems like we still have aloooot of time to finish Michael's legacy) I hope i helped u ❤️❤️

Lol wait until you watch the others the interviews only go downhill from here 😂 sadly only a few are actually good and yea most of the things the media put out about him was either completely blown out of proportion or just completely false all together
Im a big fan of his and ive met him but he is bad because he did horrible things....sorry to say but its obvious. I can seperate the man from the music.
It's sad that you are a big fan of someone but haven't done research into such heavy allegations against them. Rather than leaning on "separating the art from the artist" why not challenge yourself to really dive into what you think you know about him? I really recommend the podcast The Case for Innocence. It's very long and detailed but it goes through every allegation in depth. Much of it is shocking. The total lack of evidence that he ever did anything bad is astounding.

Thats reeeaaaally good too!🔥
OMG! Next up is another interview :D yay
@@SephPlays Yess🔥 Are you gonna upload it today?
Yes haha if you didn't already know 😂
Michael was a real genius lol songs "just come" to him 😂 that's a gift
Every song that has ever been made has taken inspiration from somewhere. Having people saying he "Stole" their songs is just ludicrous!!!
@@SephPlays right?? You should watch it he literally beatboxed in court lol I think that's hilarious for some reason 😂 the only "problem" is that it's like 3 hours long but it is fascinating
Michael was very sensitive :(
MJ super chill lol
Right??? Seph deserves all the love ❤❤
THANK YOU FOR THIS!
@@SephPlaysNo way! Your accent is great. I sometimes just play videos in the background while I’m doing other things just to hear it!
@@SephPlaysbro, your accent makes you even more charming person! :D
It was nice to revisit this interview. I’m wondering if you plan on reacting to the Bad 25 documentary? It covers each songs/videos’ creative process with a lot of behind the scenes footage and interviews of people that worked with him.
Bad 25 is really worth seeing. I was a little disappointed by Thriller 40. I assumed that it would be similar to Bad 25. My fault.
@@e.s.7272 same... I was very disappointed.. I really don't know why they didn't just let Spike Lee direct this
Great reaction to this vid Seph. Really have enjoyed your channel !
@@SephPlays I’m so sorry. No one should be threatened over an opinion on a song.
Thank you love this interview ❤
Good interview! The interviewer seemed actually interested in what he had to say and showed empathy and respect unlike many others! Seph I'm curious what's your top 5 like your favorite songs by Michael so far?
I think i'm going to save that for its own video once i've heard all his albums :D
And yes it's nice to have a *good* interview!
Michael always ao sweet and well spoken aww makes me want to hug him
Yeah he did not like how he looked because of his father, he always teased him saying that he had a "big nose", that's why he had surgeries unfortunately he could never see the beauty in himself 😢😢 how could he really with the whole media making fun of him for how he looked later on :(
The neverland main house is behind u. Like the background
Man I'm sorry you get a lot of negative mean comments but know that there are waaayyy more people here who really like you and your videos!
How dare they say anything hateful to you, the world could be sometimes a hateful place!!
"sometimes"?
@@e.s.7272 I would want to believe there are also good people, maybe sometimes was not the correct choice of word?
Don't care seph about the negative comments because we are showering u with the good ones ❤️
And honestly, people always talk wether if u do good or bad stuff or even don't do anything.. they always judgemental .... sooo what we're gonna do is to ignore them unless if there a criticism only in this case we should think about it 😊😊😊
So don't be sad , remember that all the bad things the person get through even if the pin prick is a test from above (god ) and u will be rewarded about it 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you Esraa my friend! It's the good comments that keep me coming back to TH-cam, without them i would completely stop. It's the reason i started putting videos on TH-cam in the first place as it's a way of talking to people about subjects that i enjoy and i get to meet amazing people like you and chat with them :D
Esraa i have to ask you two questions:
1) I still gotta watch the Thriller 40 documentary and since you watched it already, are there spoilers for Seph?
So in my opinion we continue with your list and leave this documentary for different occasion u know ( as it seems like we still have aloooot of time to finish Michael's legacy)
I hope i helped u ❤️❤️
Everyone Hello, 👋 Michael tried to go to a Lakers game that Magic Johnson invited him to and in the first quarter Michael had to leave because he was a distraction and Magic admitted that Michael was right. He caused a distraction at a Lakers game. 😂
👍👍👍👍 Please react to mtv interview 1999 another really good interview
Hold on tight because things go down.. from the aftermath of the Bad Era 😂
And I really think of him not liking they way looks, was it not his father kept telling him how ugly is??
Can you please react to Paul Dwyer Michael Jackson humanitarian
Lol wait until you watch the others the interviews only go downhill from here 😂 sadly only a few are actually good and yea most of the things the media put out about him was either completely blown out of proportion or just completely false all together
First
Im a big fan of his and ive met him but he is bad because he did horrible things....sorry to say but its obvious. I can seperate the man from the music.
Just do some research, its not "obvious"
It's sad that you are a big fan of someone but haven't done research into such heavy allegations against them. Rather than leaning on "separating the art from the artist" why not challenge yourself to really dive into what you think you know about him? I really recommend the podcast The Case for Innocence. It's very long and detailed but it goes through every allegation in depth. Much of it is shocking. The total lack of evidence that he ever did anything bad is astounding.
@@AlexSR__ i have done reasearch...i saw the grooming process thats obvious to see.
@@thewild5719 i have done research...the grooming process is obvious and yes ive watched square one and thats not enough evidence for me to suggest he was innocent.
@@shaunwheeler9711 Then you simply dont wanna believe he's innocent lmao because if you inform yourself properly, its so obvious that he is
This is honestly the last good interview until 2005 every interview after this they jus asked dumb questions it wasn’t about him it was about media bs
