It is quite easy, you file a dispute and get your monney back every time. If you are a buyer on ebay it is very easy to deal with beeing scammed, you actually get scammed much more as a seller on ebay, as ebay will by default always side with the buyer and there is almost nothing you can do about it.
I use a kitchen thongs (one with teflon jaws) and a piece of hollow plastic tube as a "pocket pinger". Works just fine. Also, it's easy to check the weight, diameter and thickness of a particular coin online, so an accurate scales and a calipers will show if it's genuine. If you have another of the same coin that you know is genuine, you don't even need a calipers as it's easy to see if they match up if you put them together. The only exception to this is if you're talking about a collectible numismatic as the metal content could be correct but then it's a forgery rather than a fake?
I am honored sir. I reached out to the seller and let them know of the issue. They were shocked and I am sure unaware of the problem. I got to keep the fake and the refund. I actually like the coin (fake coin) I believe it is almost as old as the original and was probably circulate for 100 plus years.
But why let that stop you? Ebay has amazing buyer protection, so even if you receive a fake, which is much rarer than people make it sound, you will get your money back without hassle every single time.
Always a good idea to open the parcel on camera too so there's no doubt on you being truthful 😉
True , I open all incoming parcels on camera .
Listen to Jimmy & Robert... Ramble On! 🤘🏼😆
Need a part 2 🤩
It is coming...😊
I'd like to hear how you go about dealing with the seller now

Very creative! Do use a frequency app with the pings? Which do you like the best?
@@MrKiwi13605 Hi, I'm probably one of the few left in the world who doesn't use a 'smart' phone so no apps for me just listening to the 'ping' 😉
I definitely want to follow what happens next... Pleasure to be here! 👊🏼😎

@@MrKiwi13605 That's totally awesome! It's good to have some fakes just to get familiar with them. As long as you didn't get faked by them! Good show

That's a really bad fake. It makes no sound at all. And it looks fake
