And that's what he did to become the phenomenon he is today. Some of the greatest artists didn't write all of their own lyrics (Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Madonna, etc.) and they are absolute superstars and will still shine even after death. As long as he keeps making great music that I know I don't have to skip over half of an album just to get to a song that I like, then I will always be a fan of Drake, old or new shit.
