Hey eliteco3 awesome video. Did you notice if PSA changed their slabs in your submission? Your Dwayne Wade spx auto looked like it had a bracket in the slab.
Just checking in again to say I recently got another 130 card order back from PSA - got absolutely hammered on grades. 36% graded lower than expected. The reason I’m checking in is because I’m curious to know, have you attempted to crack open any of the new slabs? They are a nightmare to get open. It’s like this incredibly flexible plastic that’s glued and snapped together. Might have to invest in a band saw to break cards open moving forward 😂
I had similar results in my recent bulk order. I noticed something interesting - when it came to shipping my order back to me the package originated in NJ rather than CA. Looks like they probably have new people (graders) operating out of their NY office now. I was really disappointed with the results. I’ve graded enough cards at this point to be accurate on 90-95% of my estimates and they hammered me. On a 122 card order I have at least 25 I’ll be snapping out because the grades made zero sense. SGC on the other hand has been extremely impressive lately and is going to start getting a lot more of my business.
were these graded in New Jersey or at the mothership? i just had an order, it was graded in New Jersey instead of the mothership. not sure how i feel about that
Some really nice ones in here. Spin that wheel baby! Was this one shipped out of NJ Or CA to you? A Couple of my buddies had tough grades out of NJ.. but then again, ya spin the wheel, always depends on what grader ya get from the first 3-5 cards
I’m going to play Devil’s advocate about those 90’s/00’s refractors. They are so low pop, they are super valuable in any grade? I have been looking for a 2001 Topps Chrome Refractor Drew Brees and there are only a handful of them on eBay. Even a PSA 7 is going for $500+. I think those refractors from that era in any grade is great.

ha yes i am sure the grades would be vastly different on the next spin but SGC will get a lot of my snap outs
Love all the gold refractors, the flair showcases are filthy too. They were spinning the wheel a lot in this order. 😂
