    Despite how solid our planet's crust might feel beneath our feet, did you know that it’s actually changing all the time? This program explores the composition of our Earth, how the surface is divided into tectonic plates, and the history of the movement of the tectonic plates including the supercontinent Pangaea. It also explains the different types of plate boundaries that exist and the different landforms that can be found at each of them.

      You appear to have overlooked the FACT, that what is described in the programme is just an interesting THEORY. It has never been proven, and there are at least two other THEORIES with rational alternatives !!!!

      Well, I just used this excellent video to build my students background knowledge so that they could better understand the vocabulary for the Plate Tectonics unit that I will then TEACH. I like how he presented this information too @arshkazmi6740 So I guess I DO teach like this!!! :)

    Something that still blows my mind today, when you look into a volcano you’re essentially looking into a giant chimney leading into the earths mantle, when you see the magma inside of a volcano you’re seeing the stuff directly below all of us rising to the surface.

      Tectonic Plate THEORY has been taught in many schools for over 50 years. But it is NOT the only rational THEORY to explain the existence of the various Plates !!!!

      Get knowledge not education

    • @anhumblemessengerofthelawo3858
      @anhumblemessengerofthelawo3858 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      The word _educate_ "means to draw out". Education is therefore not about putting bits of information into your head, but learning to draw out what is contained within your mind. Plato said that people do not learn anything real. _They remember._ Knowledge exists where? _In the soul._
      You should know that the purpose of compulsory education is NOT to teach one _how_ to think, but to make people into sheep. Treat the mind as if it were a machine, not a living thing. For, oh student of life, when more than 50% of a population becomes educated, governments get overthrown.
      It's true, you _can_ learn to draw knowledge out of your soul, or become educated, without going to school. All you need are books and the drive. I'd you're really smart, you owe it to the world and your Creator to actualize your indwelling potential, in faithful service to others. The world needs you.

      Ask yourself this question: _What is education FOR?_
      Be still. The answer is within.
