No need to unlock bootloader. You just need to download MIUI Downloader.
Note:
This method will only work to variants that has official MIUI 13 OTA update. For instance, you have the China rom but did not receive the update notification. OR thw update notification disappeared. You can follow this method.
If you plan to CROSSMATCH Roms, say China rom to India Rom, this method will not work. Xiaomi’s server will verify the compatibility of the Rom. You might need unlocked bootloader and TWRP.

I do have the Chinese rom, and the official v13 OTA update but the phone won't update via the phone update option, thus why I'm trying to use your video method, but i can't access the advanced update options., by tapping the logo, I cannot use twrp as this requires a pc, and I don't know anything about how to use a computer, only android, also I can't find a shop to do this for me, as they will not touch Xiaomi phones as they are Chinese.
Ok my apologies, I was wrong, you don't need a pc, and ive watched your video on TWRP, and I've tried it this way, clicked install, but get an error message.

I used MIUI EEA ROM stable and works perfectly, just make sure you don't have any third-party software. (No launchers)

Did it affected your fps when gaming? The update is still pretty new and they are known for having bugs in every MIUI updates.

No. You'll only get an error. Others were able to bypass by renaming the file but its been patched already. So you need a PC.
