Wow, this is the most thorough and educational video I've watched regarding the Zhiyun X60. You even gave out certain scenarios and camera settings with precise transparency. You have convinced me to get a this unit. Keep it up!
Hey Luis, excellent video! I really appreciate you taking the time and your expertise to fully explain and exhibit the positives and drawbacks of these light units. I certainly will be thinking about getting one to add to my old school 60 w.
@@ArtVideoProductions i know :D i gues it came across wrong. a few days ago i watched other reviews of the x60rgb and then i thought i really hope you make one too :D and here it is
man such a cool light, unfortunately 60 watts wont cut it for me, i just bought the amaran 150c and 300c but these lights are not bad, i already have the molus100 and the 40watt light, if they came out with a molxus pro rgb 100 watt, i'd buy 3 of them right now!
I think you will would be surprised how much light the X60RGB throws if you use that lil reflector. It will definitely keep up with at least the 150C especially if you flood a wall not too far as my studio. You could try ONE X60RGB at least the bare bone package. This lil thing is too cool to skip.
I love this lights, but my only disappointment was the battery grip. It died after a couple of months and now it’s useless. I recommend to buy the standard kit
That problem was with the X100. And even if you get the X100 again, with that battery, you won’t have that problem. It’s a completely re designed board and firmware.
Thanks, I have just bought the X100 and am considering this too. But when I attach the battery grip to the light, there is a little play...its just a little loose, and although I don't lose the connection it feels a bit cheap that it wobbles like this. Does yours do this? I was watching very closely but couldn't see! Thanks
@@ArtVideoProductions Ok thanks, the screw that holds the battery on mine snapped, so I got a replacement and it also has some play. I wonder why they didn't just make it a tight fit!
@@ArtVideoProductions Thanks for your replies. I just bought the X60RGB, and there is no play at all between battery and light, and when I use the X60 batteries on the X100 there is no play. It feels right! I don't know what to do, as this is my second X100 and both had play/wobble! Did you have play on your X60s too?
I can't decide whether to get the bi color X60 or the RGB version, which would you choose? My only concern is that the RGB version is less bright! I don't mind about the price
If you can vary the kelviin on the X60, what's the point of getting the X60RGB? It looks like the only difference is being able to actually use the RGB with colored lights. I only want to have the flexibility to control the color temperature with the still portraits I take in different natural light settings. Can you please advise? Thanks!
@@RobDewis the RGB version, not only you can also control the CCT, but also green-magenta tint. I’d suggest you get the RGB as some colors may come in handy besides bi color only.
I just got the light , tried to take the rubber thing off the camera for the battery , the whole thing exploded and I cant find the spring or release switch ! .. WTF is the story with that ? cant use battery now . What did I do wrong there ? have to return it now.
@@ArtVideoProductions Its user error Im sure , I saw one video where the guy said you have to use an Allen key to take off the rubber cover of the battery port , on the camera .I was undoing this when the whole battery lock mechanism " exploded " its sprung loaded and bits just shot out and I couldnt find them ! Im just wondering how are you meant to get that rubber cover off ?

I’m very happy it was helpful. Thanks.

Thank you for watching
PERFECT thanks so much man! I really hoped you would review the X60RGB too :)
Well, I did. It’s in the video lol.

I now know what addition I am adding to my kit. Thank you for the video. 👍
Hey..Nothing wrong with adding more toys. It’s always fun and refreshing to add a little something to the gear bag. Thank you for watching.

@@AlexDelfont I’d get the RGB version. RGB can be extremely useful on these. The brightness difference on CCT is minimal.

I can't charge the battery attached with the cable insert in camera. Is there any trick to make it work?
did you try to charge it with other methods? If it can work when in other methods, there would be the compatibility issue.
11:30 - Grip Battery Runtime (100% power) - 50min
Thank you. On mine I got less
Will the x60 do full power output even when using a standard powerbank instead of using zhiyun battery grip?
yes, connect the powerbank with a type c cable. But the output of the powerbank better larger than 100W.
@@chenlyn-cj8ve Oh if its a lower output, it wont work?
@@youtubeisannoying3907 if with lower output, the light maybe can not do full power output.

What do you mean by “exploded”? What does the camera have to do with the battery? I’m confused.
