I like how you have the transom reinforced and the motor bolted in. However, the solo skiff people recommend not bolting into the transom. Has it been holding up well?
Grant k It isn't bolted on. That is a bow eye. I have a stainless cable going from the bow eye to the motor to secure it in case I flip. Keeps the motor from coming off. I'd rather repair a wet motor than his a diver to go find it. lol
I had a custom transom saver fabricated out of aluminum and then powder coated. I have one bolt going though the transom holding everything together. Perfect set up.

It's just a McClain jon boat trailer. All of the modifications above stock were done by me.
With that size tank, what type of range are you getting on that thing, fuel wise?

I got them from Yak Gear, but I think you can order them directly from Solo Skiff.

It's not necessary. I predrilled the bones and used Marine Goop. Pulling kayaks isn't an issue at all.

I've heard of people doing it. It wasn't designed for it though.
