Bec, I’m a newly to your beautiful crafting world through visiting your shop with Rachel and Sarah. I am such a big fan now of you …. Love your authenticity and creative gifting, your magnificent shop made me desperate for a real visit. You have become another hero, you are so gutsy and brave and such a talented business women too…. I love your COLOUR, it’s what we are in love with at the moment, moving into a fresh fun new expression. I’m not a quilter, I’m a journal maker, slow stitcher, fabric and vintage lover - but wait I might start quilting in my work too because of you - and your creativity and joy of colour. I am one of your soon to be on line shoppers ( when I’ve saved up) and I just want to say 🎉CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 And well done YOU. It’s not just your shop or products we love - it’s who YOU are too!! Wishing you every blessing as you expand into - watch your space. Love you Adelaide 🇦🇺 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊👏👏👏
Karyn - thank you so much for this lovely encouragement. I really appreciate the thought and effort you have put in and am so glad that I am connecting with other creatives not just quilters!
I hate the ones that think competition is bad. Don’t they realise anyone visiting the area to shop with you will look up any other similar sellers to visit as well? That’s the way I and my mates shop anyway. We live in a rural area and we do a crawl when we go out to shop, at least four like businesses to spend our play money in. Just do it 😍
Huge congratulations Bec - how exciting ... I look forward to seeing videos of the new shop when you've worked your magic ....... wishing every success in your new venture, thank you for your continued inspiration ❤
Omg, so incredibly excited for the new shop Bec!!! I cannot wait for even more inspiration from you and your unique patina. BRING. IT. ON.!, and Congratulations!!
Hello from USA! I love the new shop, congratulations to you for expanding the business. I think all we can do is "DO YOU' Maybe she can come around? Maybe not. I think your new shop looks fab. And I got to see your shop from the sisters! Love them too. Waiting to see what you make of it later! That is the fun.
There will always be unhappy, bitter people in the world who can't stand to see anyone else succeed. Sounds like that shop owner is unhappy and they just want to make everyone else miserable too. I wouldn't give them a second thought. I know that's easier said than done but don't let them dampen your excitement for your new opportunity! They'll still be in their old place seething with envy and you're doing bigger, lovely work. Such exciting times! Much love from Dallas, Texas!❤❤❤
Thank you! I know you are right and I shouldn’t give them any real estate in my thoughts. I think just explaining what has been happening let me move on.
Best wishes Bec in your new business premises❣️ I to came your channel after I watched Rachel and Sarah’s video of their visit to your lovely shop. They do so much good for the stitching community and I’m sure you will too. ❣️Keep smiling and continue on as you have been, you are a breath of fresh air😊🦋🌻
Congratulations on your new space 🎉can’t wait to see how it looks with all your beautiful fabrics in there. So sorry you’ve had to deal with mean people, ignore them and carry on doing your thing xx
Wow Bec .. I love your new space and know exactly where that is .. What a fantastic adventure you are going on! Looking forward to following the fit out! I wouldn’t be too concerned about the other person over the fabric .. there is nothing in that shop for quilters as they never have a complete story of fabrics! I love your shop and will be in for another visit soon.
Well that’s the irony our businesses are so different. I believe there is very minimal overlap of products but having coming from Melbourne where it was a bonus to have a few shops in proximity I don’t really understand!
Wonderful new property..great space and does look like a great location..bless you in your new adventure and good on you... keep your vision strong Bec ,dont let anyone side track you...🤗🥰🇨🇦
💩 💩 to that nasty person - we ❤ you Bec and are so excited to visit your new space when you open. Also the design wall quilt 🤤 💕 I think I might have to make one of those with you. Oh and I bought that book you showed- a Year of Quilts- looovvveee it 😁
How beautiful is that book! And maybe a quilt would be an amazing prompt!! I need to finish a few other things first but I cannot wait to get going on mine.
Oh Bec I am so sorry someone was mean to you! Probably a little envy at the base of their nastiness! We love you and are so excited for your new adventures! Love, love love when you post a video you’re such a joy! Sending you lots of hugs Rachel
Love your new shop space Bec, it’ll be fabulous once you’re in and can spread out. And I believe there are very few shops doing what you’re doing - original vintage vibe projects and videos combined with wonderful quilt and cushion designs, gorgeous fabric and beautiful bundles ( my favourite). And you’ve only got to read of Hamilton Missouri and how Jenny Doan has made that quiet little town into a major international quilt shop destination as there are so many quilt shops in the town now ( there were none when she and her family arrived about 20 yrs ago ); Now every week bus loads of people come - all because of the quilt shops. The more the merrier can only help everyone as each shop is unique, a reflection of the owner’s personality. Keep up the great work, we love it XK
Woohoo! Congrats on your new shop Bec!! I cannot wait for the tour when it’s up and going! I too began watching you after Sarah and Rachel’s visit and am so very happy that I did! Your channel is so refreshing and colorful, thank you. And in this video you are wearing that lovely white stitched dress, I just love it! Did you do the stitching yourself and if so where did you get your pattern? Thank you for bringing us along to see your new property!💕💕
I happened upon this video by chance and I can’t wait to go online and support your new endeavor by purchasing fabric. The quilting world (especially in Australia) needs brave people like you, please introduce yourself in future videos so that we may get to know you better. Don’t worry about the naysayers, they exist everywhere, just you do you. Congratulations and good luck.
