I dont get the point, your just cooking both your engine and your turbo, and you also risk straight up burning your car especially with rotary, now hear me out, i know that with Bridgeport and the fact that rotary need to run richer than piston car its the perfect mix for flame, but that much flame just look dangerous as shit for both the car and the engine, i dont know his setup and his afr but that tune may need go be checked out by a good dorito tuner

If ur already maxing out the bitrate id recommend uploading in 4k even if ur video is in 1080p. 4k allocates much more bitrate to the video thus eliminating the blockyness/softness of the video.

Just getting into the JDM car game and yours is one of the first channels I found, the RX7 FD is clean as hell. What makes the shifts on the car sound like that though? It goes in so hard.
It’s a large turbo dude, I’d recommend watch an explanation video on YT, basically it compresses exhaust gas to draw in more air but when you go off the accelerator (to shift or brake) all that air pressure releases making the “flutter” sound

what kind of water temps do you get when pushing it? My S13 gets up to 210-220 under some high boost on the touge, Im not sure if that's something I should be concerned about
when you look at your stock temp gauge if it sits in the middle your good lol most of those older cars have dummy temp gauges, like most if not all oldschool cars. even when the dummy gauges finally hits the red "overheating" section at the top of the gauge its only around 200. unless it actually starts moving into the danger zone and stays there i wouldn't worry about it because its not actually overheating. i've been running marine grade 90 octane no ethanol which burns hotter than 87 10% corn juice for over 10 years in my civic beating the piss out of it. my dummy sits at around the 3/4's mark so i'd say about 190-195. it'll creep into to the top of the gauge if i maintain high revs for along time. it's got 230k on it. just after a good beating don't shut it off right away and let it cool off too idle temps. should do that anyway with a turbo after some pulls because ull cook the oil in the turbo if you don't.
@@boogerfromthatmovie4257 For my car I didn't run a temp gauge for the longest and that was the biggest mistake, in nissan gauges it doesn't start climbing past the "normal" temp zone until your already at 260 degrees, so basically from 200-250 degrees it will say "not overheating". I was lucky lol made it past that once with my headgasket still intact and a real gauge installed, never looked back
@@MrUglyDinosaur sound like the guage was broken tbh lol but i hear ya it is better to have a real gauge if you trashing ur car. 250 is where coolant boils. normal temps is 195-220.

If its any peace of mind most sportbikes don't even turn on thermal fans until about 210 so it may not be a problem
