I'm using plastic tubs in the garage to keep dust from building up on the Folio Society and other highend books. I use alpha nemeric skew code with an alphabet for each shelf unit then tub A1, A2... I also have moisture collectors in the poorly ventilated storage areas to keep mould away as the books love to absorb moisture. We have slimline tubs under our 4 post beds to utilise that space for ebay storage. Best haul of 2024 - 85 Franklin Library and Folio Society books. I'm happy to sit on the highend books for years while happy to discount and take offers on mass market pulp fiction trade paperback books. Reasoning is the good books give the ebay store more traffic and help the lower end books sell.
I agree on everything. We are in an apartment and limited on space (part f why I focused toward media the past few years - takes up less space). Most $100+ books go in the cedar cabinet or a chest. Majority of lower priced books are boxed as seen in the video. I mention in a few videos about a clock & watch box of books I got (slight mention in the "death pile" video. DVD & CD storage video coming tomorrow night. Have to list my recent 35ish disc media in the AM.

I came to look after your plug on Ian’s channel 😂
It's a basic video format. Getting a tad better though.
Media is a fun niche to source and sell for sure.
