I have a 308 win bergara TD 16" barrel with 1:8 twist. It is threaded and suppressed. I have taken so many animals with it that it paid itself off in months let alone years. Mind you I am in New Zealand so we can get suppressors over the counter etc. I did make 220 gn subsonic loads that drop our red deer out to 100 yards
@@mattt12such a nice setup for suppressed hunting. My wife uses a suppressed 16” 300 blackout with great results on whitetail. The single shots lacking an action cuts 6 inches off of the OAL and makes these such great suppressor hosts.
Looks like a great product. I've got a CVA Scout chambered in the 35 Remington cartridge and I am 100% happy with it. With that said, why are you producing a video where you call cartridges, "calibers"? A 243 Winchester is not a caliber, it's a cartridge. A caliber would be .243" or 6mm, neither of which is a cartridge, unless you're talking about the 6mm Remington or 6mm Arc. In this day and age, why would a rifle manufacturer display such ignorance between these two terms?
300 win or prc would likely not work. A custom barrel maker for the t/c encore rifles showed how those overbore magnum rounds(300 prc to be exact) stretched the frame until catastrophic failure. Though I’ve seen a encore 7 rem mag so who knows.
These rifles (and things like the Encore) have their own niche that no other rifles out there can fill. They make excellent dedicated suppressor hosts, especially for hunting. Some states still require breech loaded rifles as well for primitive firearms season.
Make one in 30-30 winchester
Yes! I’ve been saying that for years.
Yes!
Or better yet 7-30 waters
One of the oldest deer catchers in America and they don’t have it chamber in that come on.
I like mine in 300blk.. want one on 30-30win
I think 6.5 Grindel would be a great match with this light little rifle.
Hello Forrest from CVA, this is Forrest from Ohio. Nice overview on the upgraded Scout lineup. Single shot rifles have their own cool factor.
Nice! Please consider offering just the barrels for the takedown model. Could be a fun switch barrel system/affordable Encore competitor!
Awesome, looking forward to the .360. I've been hoping you brought that out. Great that you added threads to the std.
308 with threaded barrel !!!Will be a huge seller!!

Does CVA finally offer one in 30-30 ? It's a very popular round.
Would like open sights with fiber optics. Don't like that new stock except the metal sling studs.
Great promo! Could you please just list all of the calibers available, please? Thank you!
Looking forward to this! Want one for primitive weapon season!
I also was hoping they would add the 30/30

Guns an barrels keep getting shorter and shorter pretty soon they'll be down to just the action
Why do you guys keep putting long barrels on .44 mag? You get no additional velocity with a 20 over a 16
Need moar scout pistols!!!

Would buy one with 300 prc or 300 win mag. Maybe follow the encore and make them with other barrels in different calibers you could just swap out

Need to stop making hollow butt stocks make something solid but light .
Fill it with expanding foam.
Cheap and deadly as hell
Single Shot ? Why !!!!
In this day and age.
Please.
AREAL hunter only needs ONE shot, not a lead spray gun. Besides, these are tack drivers. I have several. Best factory bbls out there.
