This is call Laser Sight Bug. Equip the revolver or crossbow combined with the laser sight. Then take aim using the Look button (Ins/0 on the numeric keypad). Without releasing Look, press the number 1 at the top left side of the keyboard, the hotkey for pistols (or Go to Inventory, select Pistols for PS1). You'll hear Lara drawing pistols and you'll now be able to shoot with laser-sight accuracy and unlimited ammo (i.e., pistol ammo, not explosive arrows, etc.). @@joemegannye8659 But unfortunately for TR5 PS1 Japanese version cannot use Laser Sight Bug and probably was fixed only Japanese version. In future, I'll do for Japanese Version of TR Walkthrough.
The real way to kill the hydras is to tap Look to switch between them and only fire at the one which is charging the blast. Spamming Action at idle hydras only wastes time because they're invulnerable. You should reupload the video without this viral mistake because people keep learning the wrong thing (we even had it during the official TR25 stream).
The emulator Duckstation won't work to press look button to switch the target. If I try to press look while shooting, it will stay lock and I can't press anything like jumping or running. She'll stay look like shooting and I had to press again to get out. I don't know why Epsxe had no issue for press look button to switch target, while Duckstation had issue.

P.S. There's alternate way to kill hydras without switching the target but I'll do a video for alternate way to kill Hydras in main walkthrough.
