Ottawa smooths path to Canadian permanent residency for Hong Kong residents

Ottawa has announced plans to make it easier for Hong Kong nationals to become permanent residents in Canada. Those who have worked in Canada for at least a year will now be eligible. As Jon Hernandez reports, recent arrivals say the country is becoming an increasingly desirable destination amid a mounting exodus from the region.
