Hello Karen. My name is Wanda. I am from Atlanta, GA. I found you through the search bar looking for this book. And your video popped up. This was such a nice flip through. I like the book. However, I am still on the fence. I am new to adult coloring, and this book seems overwhelming. I just bought the Mythographic Paradise coloring book. It is beautiful. I dare color in it until I get more skilled. 😂 Again, thanks for the flip through.
I tried to find the video that shows what I am about to try and explain because it was a neat concept and I actually did one page like that, but unfortunately I didn’t actually save it and can no longer find it. One thing that you can do is take at least some of those circles and turn them into a “magnifying glass “ by outlining them in black and just coloring only what is inside the circle. It looks neat when there are at least 2 or three circles like that on a page. Just a suggestion only. ☺️
I’ve been loving this book for so long! It’s so detailed. I feel it’s something about Chinese or Japanese culture and mythology, but I don’t know the references to the illustrations. As for the circles, I thought they’re like soap bubbles you can fly and travel in. I thought they could be coloured and then covered by something like Glossy Accent to imitate glass sphere.

Beautiful book Karen, still waiting after mine from Book Depository & the shipping ius so long because i fellin love with this book soon as i saw the cover page, so as you have yours can't wait to color with you Karen, i don't have a clue why Joseph has made a circle on every lights source but i'll seen what you will do with these on your future tutorials. Thank You Karen, great review as usual and love the fact theis so cute Girl are almost on every pages, boys are hard to color for me, but with you i'm on goos hands LOL! xx
I can definitely see you starting with some Tombows on these pages...the size might make it difficult to photocopy on our typical printers. Thanks for the flip through...I just noticed that the artist is not the same one as many of the other Mythographic books, Fabianna Attanasio. I am not very familiar with these books, do the artists vary?
