I don't understand how Kraft thought it a good idea to hire a coach with no coaching experience, including no experience as a coordinator, who he knew would be learning on the fly, while also knowing he would be drafting a rookie qb, with no NFL experience, who would also be learning from the ground up. Where does that make any sense? I knew immediately upon the announcement that it was going to be a DISASTER. it was a LAZY decision. Kraft didn't want to be bothered having to go through the interview process and actually use his brain to pick the best candidate. It's called complacency from all the winning of the past. Kraft is old and past his time. He doesn't want to invest the money nor put in the work to put together a good team. Seems to me that he's content with his past success and BILLIONS of dollars Tom Brady made for him.

He was in the middle of a re build when he lost Brady. Brady made our offense look better than it really was so when he left we had nothing. We were in almost every game last year until Mac threw us out of em. Belichick shouldn’t have been fired as a coach for his bad management decisions. People are letting that blind them from the fact that there isn’t one coach out there that’s better than him at this job.

I love Mayo as a player and I even liked him a lot on the staff but I do think he is a bit over his head. I am not big on firing coaches quickly, but when there is no grasp of the game, wehn it almost seems to move too fast for everyone involved, changes need to be made and unfortunately, I think Mayo may be there. Hope he proves me wrong.
i think he designed this team to fail into the first draft pick. Because after the first game it's almost like......they are doing this on purpose. Well, we have been talking about "the plan" since bill was fired have we not? i believe His primary objective is to secure one of the top 3 draft picks without it being so obvious that's what they are doing. because they sure as hell are not paying for it. where else are they looking to save them if not the DRAFT.
