Hubelino Marble Race 2018 - E1 Swing Wave

- The first event of the Hubelino Tournament 2018! We will begin this tournament with the Swing Wave!
The Swing Wave consists of 10 waves(were look like halfpipes) but dont take to much speed because you will go to the 1 point lane, to avoid get to it, you must get enough speed until you get the 12 point pit(the orange block), 2 teams go down in this course, the team that has more points will win the match.
The Hubelino Tournament uses various products from the Hubelino toy company in Germany, which makes various building bricks and marble tracks that are compatible with each other, some of which can even be seen in the Marblelympics!
As for the tournament itself, it exclusively uses Hubelino products and marbles which are divided into teams that compete in various events like the Swing Wave and Funnel Spin, earning points based on their performance. After eight events, the team holding the most points win the championship!
Hubelino is available at most major toy (web) shops like Amazon.com. However, please watch out for fake imitation products! Hubelino building sets are recognizable with green packaging.

Yeah, very hard to make more. Although in theory there is 12+3x10=42, that woud be pure insanity.

I'm firmly convinced that the Minty Maniacs' and Black Jacks' participation in the 2018 Marblelympics has had some effect on their performance in this tournament. I don't think they've ever been up to the level they were this time around!
2 months late, but the marbles used in the ML and Hubelino Tournament have different sizes. So technically the marbles who competed in the ML aren't the same as the ones who competed in the Hubelino Tournament.
When I’m all stressed out I now come to this channel because your soothing announcer voice and the joy of watching freaking marbles compete against each other and yelling/encouraging my favorite team (Galactics) just makes me at peace.
The Limers disappointed me, Slimer disappointed me, hopefully the green gang will finally give the green marbles a win!!!!

This is my favorite Tournament so far. There should be an annual points system like in tennis where each event winner gets 500 or 1000 points, so you can see the overall performance of each team for the whole year.
Not only is the commentary basically perfect but the camera shots have evolved as well and are feeling much more like ESPN or something. So much to appreciate here! Plus these teams have personalities and stats and fans? Sign me up.
Do you have any rhyme or reason for what teams you choose for each series?? If you do, is there a spread sheet of what teams play, in what series?
In solo's I'm a Red#3, Super, and G Plasma team/fan. But thats for group A, correct? Is there a lineup for who is in group B?
As far as teams, I'm a RasRacer and SavSpeeder, but they aren't in this series....
Anyone got the rosters by series handy??

I don't know why, but the professional tone and fun challenges are keeping me watching.

I really like the creative stuff you do with these competitions. I hate to admit that I'm kinda hooked already and it's not even my thing. What really sets it apart from anything else I have seen is the commentating. Just spot on. Then the one where you had the "fight" break out in the stands... omg, that was classic. Are they all hits for me? No, not really, but on a whole I'll click on them just to find out what competition you got going. Red # 3 is already my favorite, but Gators are my team. I hope to be able to follow a competition throughout the year to see who has an overall win. Same stuff I do with racing. Keep up the great work.

As I was afraid of after the last tournament, the Bumblebees pulled it out at the last second. Man, those guys are good. If there's anyone I'm worried about giving the boys a run for their money, it's the Bees, and I have to respect the Bees.
In the opening round of the 2018 Hubelino Marble Championship, teams must surf the waves to secure the gold! But beware, travel too far from the safety of the shore and you may loose it all!

Do you think it makes a difference if the team has a similar colour to some of the blocks they are passing over? The opposing team losing sight of them for just a second could make a difference

Aside from the Bumble Bees, all these teams took part in the 2017 Hubelino tournament.
I honestly think that the 12 point strip should be worth more. As it is, it's effectively risking 9 points for a 2 point gain. I think it should be 15-20 points.

This is a good Marble League-level event, but it SHOULD have a 2-run lane swap as block pushing does.
