This movie is absolutely the "WORST ELVIS MOVIE ABOUT HIM EVER"! Not the actors or actresses but it told you nothing about Elvis his personal friendships and totally distorted the rare true scene(s) in the movie. This movie opens as a nightmare and continues as one as it gets worse. Mr. Butler was excellent but everything else was a joke and stupid, childish and flat wrong. Why you see praise everywhere should show you the lies Hollywood and its scum have prayed on the public long enough. Moreover the Presley family have portrayed the movie as an Acadamy Award winner which they (being Pricilla and Lisa Marie) should know it is 100% horrible.

Austin played Elvis brilliantly. I love the movie. He actually started looking like Elvis when tanned and black hair. They picked the right person to portray Elvis for sure. Hanks really got into his character of the Manager too. I hope they both get awards for a amazing part in the Elvis movie. Leading role and second acting role. It was so fast but great to see. Austin Butler was unbelievable , I'd forgotten the breadth & depth of talent Elvis possessed. I bought 3 💿cds last week of Elvis 🎶 . He was such a humble person and I think did so much for civil rights he didn't see colour ,he loved Rosetta Tharp, Mahalia Jackson and his momma. He was so special and this movie deserves all the accolades for putting Elvis out there amongst a generation who never knew him. He was iconic .
I always loved Elvis doing Rock and Roll. The interesting part is he got his only Grammy for his Gospel music. He is amazing I get the chills when I listen to it.
I just finished watching the movie and I was impressed by the performances of the cast especially Austin Butler. He embodied Elvis sounds like Elvis and he even sang like Elvis. He was a great choice. #GIVEAUSTINBUTLERANOSCAR

I just went to see this and this movie was AMAZING! I love how the movie tied his whole life together. I've always been an Elvis fan but never really understood his life story as a whole. My father died from drinking when he was 41 so this movie was especially moving for me. I cried like a baby in the end but it was a beautiful movie. I'll be buying this one. Plus its been years since I've seen a movie theater as packed as it was today at the matinée.

I'm not an Elvis fan but this movie is WOW!! Austin Butler nailed it and portrayed the very lonely, sad and talented Elvis. I learned a lot about Elvis's life and how sadly he was used by the people he loved and trusted the most.
I have been an Elvis fan since I was 16 in 1956. I will always be.... I do agree with your reaction to the movie. Austin Butler did a phenomenal job. I loved it & would recommend it to everyone. ACADEMY AWARD for Austin Butler...
It's wonderful when people are able to recognize the difference! Kudos to you. What I mean is that some people, who are not Elvis fans, wouldn't be able to appreciate Austin Butler's performance, just because they don't like Elvis, but you were able to not fall into that trap, which is very cool.
This must be the best film i've ever seen in 23 years of existence. So well done, so touching... this gathered like, a lot of people at the cinema, every kind of age, to talk and cheerish Elvis' life and work.... i cried a lot at the end, it's so so so well done. Amazing work by Austin and crew. Elvis is eternal.
It's up there among my most favourite, too! There are very very very few movies that I like enough to want to own, and this is one of them. I never even heard of Austin Butler or the direction Baz whats-his-name before, but now I will look them up, as I am curious what else they have done. This movie was so visually beautiful, and creative, and the ending is a tear-jerker, for sure. When I looked up Baz whats-his-name, the one thing I did discover is that he directed 'Austalia'. I actually hated that movie. It was soooo corny, and I really can't stand Nicole Kidman, she's so plastic, botox, fake, egocentric, full of herself. Blech.
ADMITTEDLY, I WAS TEARY EYED DURING & AFTER THE MOVIE. YES, TO THE MOST PART AUSTIN BUTLER SOMEHOW LOOKED LIKE THE YOUNG VERSION OF ELVIS.... BUT AUSTIN'S REPRESENTATION OF ELVIS' MOVES WAS SO GOOD. TOM HANKS OF COURSE DID GREAT AS COL. PARKER.... THE WHOLE MOVIE JUST BROUGHT BACK ELVIS ALIVE IN OUR HEARTS ONCE MORE..... ELVIS WAS A GOOD MAN WHO LOVED GOD....HE NEEDED SOMEONE TO TRULY CARED ENOUGH TO MAKE HIM REALIZE HE NEEDED HELP.... TO OVERCOME HIS ADDICTION.... HIS DEATH IS SO HEARTWRENCHING ...
As a lifelong Elvis fan, I feel that Austin nailed the roll and then some. I knew I would cry while watching the film, and I did, but I also felt many other emotions too. The film is wonderful.
Eating popcorn and drinking soda is part of the experience of going to the movie but I not once was Able to eat or drink as I was hooked! The music!! wow! Austin when he sang “trouble” amazing! He deserves every award Hollywood offers.

I will be right there leading the way. All kidding aside Austin & Baz Lurman did something so brilliant it needs recognition in a big way. If you have not seen the movie do not wait for its release on video. It needs to be seen on the big screen, trust me.
I knew BB King and his bus driver. I didn’t know B was friends with Elvis. I saw the Movie TODAY. We had BigMama Thornton as a guest in our home when she appeared at Lennies On The Turnpike, Route 1 in Peabody, MA late 1960’s. Wish I had pictures. I still have B’s letter he wrote to us a lot.
Austin Butler , was the best person to pick to play the part of Elvis. Austin was outstanding.. All of the remaining actors did a fantastic job. Elvis was "The King of Rock and Roll". Elvis will never be forgotten. The movie "Elvis" is the movie of the year, in my opinion. Austin Butler, should get an Oscar. THANK YOU BAZ FOR MAKING THIS MOVIE OUTSTANDINGLY, BUT, for making this movie possible.
Wonderful movie. The acting brilliant. I really enjoyed his very first performance. Laughed out loud when the old lady screamed along with the other girls. Well done.
Saw the movie on Saturday and loved it! I really liked Austin’s acting and he really showed his range in the dramatic parts like when he fired Colonel Tom while on the microphone. (Especially behind the curtain.)
Great movie. For me, the Vegas concert scenes were my favorite part. Old Las Vegas and its glamour. Austin is an unbelievable Elvis, will get an oscar nom.
Austin Butler Amazing amazing actor I've never seen such a real and emotional delivery it felt like I was living that time of ours an acting spectacle Elvis Presley deserves this star that appeared in the cinema ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I was very hesitant about this movie in particular Austin Butler being able to play Elvis….WOW’ I was wrong! This movie is so very good. Austin Butler was absolutely fantastic, I could not believe how he moved like Elvis, he grasped the very essence of him…I loved this movie and I have seen it twice!😬
I agree! I thought Butler was a bubblegum teenybopper actor who had no business playing Elvis, and he blew our expectations away with an outstanding performance. The second half of the movie he really captured the essence of the man. An oscar is needed for Butler.
I’m so grateful for the love and respect and truths that come to life in Elvis!!! I watched it opening weekend in theaters!! Absolutely incredible and SO important for us as a society. Beautifully done. I will say I left the theaters a little melancholy and sad for how Elvis was treated. After it consuming my thoughts and heart , it was like Elvis himself gave me a gift and that was the Memoir :Elvis and Ginger , (came across it online) I had to listen to it immediately, and then couldn’t stop until it was finished. It was sacred getting to listen , in the sense it’s so loving and real. Ginger had his literal last breath, and knowing the love they shared and the intimate look inside Wlvis through her, was the best feeling I’ve ever had with Elvis. I felt like I really got to know the true him. He had some incredible, loving women in his life : his mama, Precilla, Lisa, and Ginger was his last and got to know Elvis as the man he had become. And after listening, my heart and spirits have been lifted knowing how much hope, love, excitement and zest for life he had until his last breath. I really felt Elvis and he’s still speaking to us, we just have to listen. He’s our gift from God, our Hercules come to help save the world-and he did. Elvis was and still is spiritual, and a genius! Thank you Austin and the WHOLE amazing talented cast for helping to immortalize and keep Elvis’ legacy living on. I’m a 90’s Kentucky girl who loved Elvis, and now that I’m a woman with children of my own, I share to them all the love and light of Elvis I can to them to keep it going. He really was our American king. If you’re ever feeling alone, listen to some Elvis, he’ll come be with you. So much love.

Ive just seen the movie today in Australia and I really loved it, the scenes re-enacted such as the 68 comeback and the stage performances at the International Hotel were fantastic. The final moments of the movie were emotional and I loved that they showed the real Elvis at the end, you could hear a pin drop in the theatre. 10 out of 10.

Saw it today and I was very impressed. Everything my mother had told me about Elvis was put into the film. I'm glad it displayed the reality of his tragic times and his fate. So heartbreaking yet so beautiful.
Such a stunning cinematography piece!!! As lifetime fan of Elvis, I was really impressed and not disappointed like the biopics about Judy Garland and Elvis Presley.

Agreed. I think Austin deserves an Oscar for his role as Elvis in this beautiful movie. #ElvisMovie

I seen this movie with my 17 years old son and loved this movie. My mother got me hooked on Elvis when I was a teenager in the 90's and have been a fan of him ever since. One thing I can say is Austin Bulter WOW! He did a amazing job playing him. Spot on!
I’m so happy you loved the movie! It was phenomenal! #ElvisMovie
The passion for arts should be self-chosen not influenced or imposed :) I fell in love with Elvis work by discovering it on my own :)
@@iHollywoodTVOfficial the best movie no have ever seen !
Thank you for sharing your story. Elvis will continue to live forever. A legend always. #ElvisMovie
I'm glad they showed elvis telling his mom to stop drinking. Elvis never was a drinker, so that's one good thing.
Seen this movie last night and it was truly amazing and heartbreaking.
What was one of your favorite moments from the movie, Sarah? #ElvisMovie
the movie is excellent. its great to see so many Australians playing parts in this movie too.
Agreed. #ElvisMovie
I had zero desire to see the movie but my boyfriend dragged me to see it. I thought i would fall asleep or scroll my phone through out the movie...boy was I WRONG. I loved the movie. Austin Butler was amazing as Elvis. I hope he gets a Oscar nomination for his portrayal.
I’m so happy you loved it! It is one of our favorite movies of the year! #ElvisMovie
Omg same here, i kept telling my mom it was gonna be corny but she dragged me there and i was entertained the WHOLE time!
@@Binababyy same as my 32 year old daughter very reluctant to see it but after I raved about told her I had seen itb8 times and pointed out it was filmed in your from where we live She decided to go with her girlfriend and they both loved it said it was awesome! 🥰fr.Australia
I never cried so much going to see a movie!! WOW!
Awww! We are excited to watch it this weekend in theaters! 🎉🍿 #ElvisMovie
I'm not an Elvis fan but this movie is WOW!! Austin Butler nailed it and portrayed the very lonely, sad and talented Elvis. I learned a lot about Elvis's life and how sadly he was used by the people
he loved and trusted the most.
I have been an Elvis fan since I was 16 in 1956. I will always be.... I do agree with your reaction to the movie. Austin Butler did a phenomenal job. I loved it & would recommend it to everyone. ACADEMY AWARD for Austin Butler...
Who's not an Elvis fan? Lol
It's wonderful when people are able to recognize the difference! Kudos to you. What I mean is that some people, who are not Elvis fans, wouldn't be able to appreciate Austin Butler's performance, just because they don't like Elvis, but you were able to not fall into that trap, which is very cool.
@@granny58 Uh, plenty of people. That is obvious. I'm a fan, but not everyone is, and that's okay. This is all totally obvious.
@@granny58 I'm a bigger fan after seeing the .movie!🥰
This movie was fantastic. One of the best films ive ever seen
❤️
As a lifelong Elvis fan, I feel that Austin nailed the roll and then some. I knew I would cry while watching the film, and I did, but I also felt many other emotions too. The film is wonderful.
TERRI well said I loved it to I have seen it 8 times!
best movie to ever be made hands down
Austin Butler deserves an Oscar
He sure does. #ElvisMovie
Hand him the Oscar. Butler for the win. 4 stars 🙂🙂❤❤❤

Eating popcorn and drinking soda is part of the experience of going to the movie but I not once was Able to eat or drink as I was hooked! The music!! wow! Austin when he sang “trouble” amazing! He deserves every award Hollywood offers.
This is great ! THANK U FOR showing the two Australians who.played Elvis's Mum and Dad! They LOOK and sound so different without the make up on!

Best Elvis movie I ever seen.. AUSTIN BUTLER WHAT A PERFORMANCE .. OSCAR
We agree! #ElvisMovie
I went to see the movie last Saturday and Austin Butler crushed it. The kid deserves an Oscar and if the Academy passes him over I am afraid the peeps who have seen this movie may just rise up lol.
I watched it today, and it was a good movie!! Elvis was a legend and will always be. 🌟
So true. Legend who lives on forever… ❤️ #ElvisMovie
@@iHollywoodTVOfficial yes! ELVIS = LIVES!
Well done.

Yes, when he did the 68’ comeback special he nailed it and from then on out he was just mesmerizing to me as Elvis.
I could tell from the first time I saw the trailer (before a different movie) that this was going to be great. It was.
He did a phenomenal job!!! #ElvisMovie
I am going back for the second time. It was that good
Wow! At 5.30 very big praise from Austin Butler for all the Australian film crew! 🤗🥰
Beautiful words! Elvis is really a gift from God. And he's a world king. He travelled far in so many hearts, with his love and light.
Kyle Rudd! Beautiful words! I'm so glad you felt reconnected with ELVIS! I did you ever see ELVIS live in concert!? I have seen this movie 8 times and each time when hecwas in stage I FELT I too was at a live concert watching ELVIS! Amazing movie! I hooe AUSTIN gets an OSCAR itscreally deserves it!
