exactly! , the way his bike and overall appearance is burnt to a crisp and his outfit is melting and bubbling in heat is just peak ghost rider design, don't get me wrong the classic comic book design of the first one is nostalgic and so good, but if i'm gonna choose, this design does it for me, it looks much more demonic without being too out there.
This version of the ghost rider was more of an animalistic creature than a bounty hunter like in the first movie. I generally liked the design and the mannerisms. You get the feeling that the ghost rider is a force of nature rather than a sentient being
Despite the film not doing that well at the box office, i absolutely adored it. Nicolas Cage's acting is damn phenomenal as it often is and the effects are really cool, miles better than the first film. Ghost Rider's visual appearance was so well done.
"Scraping at da dwoor! Scrapin' at da DWOOR!!!" XD Classic Nic Cage. Crazy to think this a decade old movie. This is the best looking Ghost Rider I've ever seen. I hope we get a similar one in the MCU someday. The effects on him were so cool.
Can never go wrong with Nicolas Cage.😂 I'm really glad y'all enjoyed watching this movie. It's so unappreciated. I just love this channel. Keep up the good work. ✊🏾😎💯
In the comics Danny Ketch, which is the character played by the kid in the film, is actually the Ghost Rider after Johnny Blaze in the comics only he has a much different backstory and is actually Johnny Blaze's long-lost younger brother.
Steph hasn't seen face-off or twisted her ankle WHAT ! 🙂 Fun reaction for sure , films you can just switch your brain off and just enjoy it for what it is , is always a treat 🎉 cheers for the fun guys
This directing duo is cheesy and frenetic as hell. But you can't deny they have a unique voice in their filmmaking styles. Which is sorely missed in a time of similar, cookie-cutter, bland cgi glopfests we have for about 85% of blockbusters today.
Watching you guys react to this movie and then Jaby saying "I'm Castor Troy" that's precisely what I was thinking at that exact moment when he said it. hilarious🤣This movie by the way is absolutely classic Nicholas Cage. I don't know if another person could have actually played this role like him underrated movie really. I actually enjoyed this one more than I enjoyed the first one!
Ghost Rider is called the Spirit of Vengeance and he is basically unkillable. The only way to kill him is by using a holy weapon created by The One Above All (basically God of the Marvel universe)
8:10 Not really jaby, an average movie from a decade back looks like a masterpiece now. This shows much how much creative and competitive people were from 1990s-2010. We belong to a gen which lacks both hardwork and creativity and only reboots older ideas/creations in the worst possible form just to show their mediocrity and lack of vision
That was Nic Cage doing the principal shots as The Rider. He even went so far as to wear white makeup and a light apparatus around his head. He freaked the crew out with his behavior in makeup.
This is by far the best design of ghost rider. Boiled and bubbling leather jacket and pants and his skull looks burnt. Update: OH MY GOD THEY KINDA MAKE A MK REFERENCE WHEN HE GRABS THE DECAY GUY!
I hope marvel does a new Ghost rider film and we get Nicholas Cage back except the film is about him passing the torch over to robbie reyes who drives a flaming Mustang
@@swan_909 right now I agree, Wed have some scene were Robbie reyes says "Well I'll be damned 😾, Speaking of the devil" Then mephisto walks in with pajamas or something
I just want Keanu Reeves to be back as John Constantine in Constantine 2 as well which is long overdue already. That's the character he always wanted to come back. Ghost Rider would be great choice too if MCU ever pick him.
Steph was born in 1993, which makes her a 2000's kid. At Age 0-7 eras do not imprint on you. It's ages 7-12 (still kid age) when you are even old enough to remember the things around you. Which is why as someone born in 1983 i am a 90's kid and love all things 90's that i was old enough to watch the movies coming out in the 90's and hear the songs coming out then. I dressed as those styles clothes. I do not remember the 80's vibes one ioda. Even though now at 39 i know what they are by being old and wise. But the 90's i remember like the back of my hand. Anyways glad i could wake you to the realities of life and how things go. Lastly i will add if born in 1993, most of those last 7 years before 2000 you were a baby, infant, toddler before you turned into a kid. Which would have started at the turn of the century. So either way i am correct.
I would love a sequel with Ghost Rider and Blade with Cage and Snipes reprising their roles. But I understand they are old and it would be taxing for them to do the stunts with the same tempo. Just wishful thinking I guess.
They can still play the older version of the character and Snipes still look amazing with his age, the guy hardly age and compare to Harrison Ford, they both are not that old lol.
10:43 i firmly believe that this is just nick being himself, improvised and all, no rehearsals, no script, nothing 💀😅 hes a true acting powerhouse...... why he gets so much criticism and hate i have no idea.
The javelin arms itself mid flight after stage 2 launch, its for safety reasons incase the launcher has a failure and it just falls out of the end keeping it from detonation after a failed launch.
The second you started talking about the Sin City trailer music I IMMEDIATELY knew you were tlaminf about Cells by The Servants. I loved that song and listened to it all the time back in the day. I was hoping it was even in the Sin City soundtrack too but it wasn't lol

I kinda prefer the old ghost rider look bcs he seems less talkative and friendly as the first it even got ppl calling him a villain when hes a marvel superhero
You know the crazy thing about this part 2 is in the first when he said she's going to learn how to control the power but now in the second one he wants to get rid of the power I think they could have introduced like another Ghost Rider and this movie
13:02 mortars, rpg's etc have a safety fuse built in. Just in case shit doesn't launch more than 1 meter due to malfunction or if someone is stupid enough to pull this kinda move he did.
12:06 The weird part is that this is a real weapon that actually works like that 😐. Edit 13:05: It can't. The rocket can't detonate before the moment the rocket went "fwhoop" during the previous shot. There's a small timer so the holder isn't in the blast of the explosion 🤓.
That's called a penance stare...it's the ultimate power of GR....it makes stand still because r remembering all ur sins u have committed during ur lifetime.... that's why they r standing still...and i will say GR has been nerfed a lot in movies u can say that becus he one of a few character in marvel comics who can alone stand against beings like Odin,Galactus and even Hela ....i am talking about Johnny Blaze version....Even Dr strange is afraid of Ghost Rider

This movie just shows off more of Ghost riders abilities particularly the one where anything he drives changes with him so it becomes his weapon The only thing i dont like is how they made his skeleton charcoal than what it was in the first movie
the cgi of the ghost rider is literally top tier

And the budget was ONLY $57 mill...can you believe it? Went on to make almost $ 150 mill.
It’s a shame other aspects were sub-par, as the rider’s effects really were superb. Especially compared to the first film.
This sequel was so much more fun than the original. It was a shame it didn't do better at the box office.
Coz it was garbage movie
@@arya-x7x I think he was talking about Peter Fonda who played Mephisto in the 1st movie.
Facts all day.
Because it's still a crappy movie
Yeah I liked it a lot more than the first.

This was from the directors of Crank and Crank 2 High Voltage. If you guys haven't yet, you need to react to these 2 movies! You won't regret it!
I agree with this.
Yes
The Crank movie was top notch
The camera work says that
Oii oi crank both of them goated
"Scraping at da dwoor! Scrapin' at da DWOOR!!!" XD
Classic Nic Cage.
Crazy to think this a decade old movie.
This is the best looking Ghost Rider I've ever seen. I hope we get a similar one in the MCU someday. The effects on him were so cool.
How anyone managed to get a take of "SCRAPING AT THE DOOR!" without just pissing yourself laughing is beyond me.
That my favourite part 😂🤣

That is true fun fact , unlike Johnny Blaze who usually drives cruiser type motorcycles , Danny Ketch drives Race Bikes!
One reason why this film was not that highly accepted by the audience was ,it is simply trippy asf.
It's crazy the effects in this movie are lottt better than what we got in crappy CGI finale for The Flash movie.
Just watching how giddy Jaby got with this movie was amazing.

This movie has some good scenes, and Nicholas cage, and Idris Elba were great.

Jaby- "Truck from hell"
Me- come on say it! Say it!
It's a monster truck!!
You had one job jaby
A small piece of Italy in this film: the female protagonist, the boy's mother, is played by Violante Placido.
I still enjoy this movie to this day, glad you liked it 💯💯
11:28 Andrew Lincoln is perfect example of that as he is British but have a perfect American dialect
The second part was very good, I think there should be a third part of the film
Ghost Rider is called the Spirit of Vengeance and he is basically unkillable. The only way to kill him is by using a holy weapon created by The One Above All (basically God of the Marvel universe)

Danny Ketch and Wally West are like the coolest legacy characters that never got their due in live-action.
Agreed! 🙏🏽💪
20:14 watched that movie in theatre it was awesome as mentioned by jaby it was pure Nicolas Cage acting
15:59 I knew Jaby was going to recognize the actor who played Raiden from Mortal Kombat! 💪
Can't wait to watch your "Face-off" Reaction, I love that movie!
I would imagine the brief from the directors was just like " be yourself, excessively please"

'One of the best'? Definitely need to check out more channels then! 🙄
The man at the beginning with Idris Elba is Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Anthony Head.
Giles was so cool
Ghost rider can turn any vehicle like his bike
I hope marvel does a new Ghost rider film and we get Nicholas Cage back except the film is about him passing the torch over to robbie reyes who drives a flaming Mustang
That would work too.... or maybe one with Keanu Reeves with the others at least as guest stars
Naah. The way current marvel is, let's hope they never touch ghost rider. They will just ruin him like the rest of the things they ruined.

Keanu Reeves is a great choice in playing The Ghost 👻 Rider in the MCU.
Yes! If they could at least make it a trilogy that would be fantastic! And maybe bring Nick Cage's Blaze in a guest role...

The kid is danny ketch, the second ghost rider and in comics they are members of same family if i'm not mistaken
the camera angle shot are the comic action panel angles.
The cinematography in this challenges conventional cinematography styles but still looks so good....

I think it’s funny making a distinction between:
Sci-fi

The difference is in the MPAA rating.
