I'm in finance with Marriott International and I travel a lot but my home base is Nashville and the taxes here are perfect. I would be sleep after eating all that food. I have some questions, if you don't mind. How long did you take prepare for leet code? i come a comp sci background and do you recommend understanding all of the data structures and algorithms (arrays, binary trees, graphs, dp) before grinding leetcode? Any advise would help!

Hey Arman - do you actually like Go? Maybe I'm just way too used to OO languages, but I found the whole "methods" with a receiver argument concept very confusing (but they're not a function?) and that made writing Go code weird for me. At Amazon, we were migrating all legacy backend services in Go to Kotlin, but curious what you think.
I personally love coding in Go. I come from a Java background and picking up Go felt very natural to me. The performance benefits, go standard library, and concurrency support are all major benefits I work with daily

yea RTO5 sucks if you have a long commute, we had RTO5 prior to ban bill discussion, but yea it's mainly just for closer collaboration

1. work culture is intense, but it's really how you manage it/team dependent
2. cn collaboration is real, but you start your days much later than typical american companies
3. yes there is life balance
4. I think it's just based on market trends

Love the vids but have some pretty strong disagreements about the TikTok ban. We don’t allow foreign ownership of media companies for example Rupert Murdoch had to become an American citizen to own Fox… so why would we allow foreign ownership of an arguably bigger news/content distributor?
I am not aware of the details on Fox example, but yea mainly has to do with first amendment rights. TikTok is a global company, not a US media company, I think thats the major difference
