Dropping pieces by leaving them hanging is the sort of thing I tend to do, classic board blindness, over-focusing on what I am doing and not enough on what opponent has just done and is planning. I once ventured into the local chess club and had a couple of games against a 1500 player (I haven't played for decades and am unrated). Was outplayed in the first game and resigned on a lost position. Second game opponent tried to make things interesting by sacking the exchange for a superior position. It didn't work and I kept pummelling away at his position and eventually won. I haven't been back on account of how exhausted I felt after the games. I found it hard trying to play chess properly for a couple of hours with decent focus after doing a full days work plus an hour and a half commute each way.
Yeah, slow OTB play is another level. Even playing in 3D is totally different to 2D on screen. Everyone blunders, the key is reducing those first of all.
It was of course the excellent Breakfast club. I do hate that move, but not as much as I hated not exploiting the h6 - f8 diagonal first chance in the first game. Was entertaining though. Thanks Ben.
@ There are a bunch of reasons. To me it is a bit of a one trick pony. If you know what I mean. Also, white has given a pawn to facilitate quick development. In such circumstances it behaves black to develop quickly, c6 is too slow and last of all the system can be too complicated for beginners.
@ i agree it is a good success rate for you. But yeah if we take an individual coaching session some time we can look at it. However if it works for you it works. There are maybe other priorities.
Wow 750 is harsh, you know i didnt see the knight hanging initialy either.. but when i saw it and i saw white keept pushing the pawns i thought white would not win anything when taking it. You see its not that easy initialy... So i need to pause and analyze to see why the first to positons where this knight hangs, how white actualy wins a ofiser.. in the 2 last possitions, i think its a easy blunder.. The thing is like at 13:30 you play the knight in.. and the knight on e5 is hanging.. but if they take it.. you do have 2 attackers on the bish on e2.. so my intitial thought is that that was not good for white and white should not take the knight because you counter takes on e2... the problem i think is that if you take on e2 with the knight.. you have the defending bishop attacked from the knight on e5, so the knight that takes your knight also attacks your bishop.. So if they play Nxe5, you have to take on e2 with bishop... Bxe2...but then the knight on f4 is hanging, attacked by the queen.. So miraculusly Nxe5 from white is also a discoered attack on the f4 square also attacking the bish on g4.. so its not as simple blunder as it might seem.. just saying... Its not just a hanging pieces its a complicated possition with many things hanging, where it looks like black has a counter attack, but nothing works for black because its a desocery attack and they take something and attack something.. its acctualy a double attack considering the discovery and the attack on the bish. And secound time at 13:44 when you drop back with bish.. the bish is safe from the Nxe4 discovery attackign taking also beein an attack on the bish.. but i think still Nxe5 works for them.. bacuse if you take on e2 now with bish the knight on f4 is hanging and they taken 2 pieces and you only one.. So you have to take on e2 with knight.. but then they have g4 and you have 2 pieces hanging.. So the 2 first "blunders" are rather complicated.. while the third when you play Bg6, its you that has 2 things hanging and you need get rid of the knihgt with check before saving the bishop.. that blunder is lets say more simple.. the computer dont see the difference.. but for me, the 2 last are simple, and the 2 first, i cound not see solution so fast, not possible for me yet to calculate that so fast. In the end.. i think your opponent just played to fast.. its like they played all moves in one speed.. more colsoe to blitz.. and you saw that the knight was hanging and found that very nice knight moves in the end because you took some time to look around and see more deep what was going on with the knight and those squares in the king side. And ofc at 15:08 they should have taken more time to find a better square for the queen.. they have 9 minutes of a 10 minute game.. they had 2 knights up ni their face.. and they use 9 secounds to play Qf1 where it will be attacked from the square the knight obviously want to go.. I guess Qg3 was much better.. attacking the other knight.. giving time to move the king if/when Ne3 come.. ia cant see anyforks with Q on g3. With Qon g3 black will most likely have to trade one knight with bish on e2 witch is a bad bish.
The sound of the dog eating like he hasn’t eaten in four days. 😆
Oh she does like to eat!!

When you leave your knight hanging for 3 moves you can’t really complain about 750 😂😂😂😂
Hence the title of the video and general public health warning :-)
The breakfast club! Lovely film! 😉
I fucking knew you'd get it.

What can I say? It was an off day.
@joseraulcapablanca8564 why don’t you like the c6 move against the Kings gambit?

@@joseraulcapablanca8564 I have a 51% win rate out of 192 games, which ain't too shabby for Black.. But maybe we can come up with something better.

We learnt nothing, lol but it was an enjoyable watch.
I didn't learn anything either :-)
Why no longer time controls? I like to play 30-90 min games.
Because nobody will watch it.
I have done plenty of longer games in the past, but it's not really to me right now.
