47 DIY Rock Lifting Tongs and Why I Built Them

Nicely done Ben, the tongs worked out really well. Especially when lowering rocks into place. Looking forward to the build video. As a 3rd alternative wrapping an old set of tire chain's around the rock may work well for you. Have a good one!😊

How's she goin'? Ben these rock tongs are the answer for lifting and moving the big rocks eh!! They work some nice. I like the 'pick points' you added to the jaws too. Looks like they really bite the rock good and solid!! Very nice attachment. Thanks for sharing. Take er easy!!

Wow very interesting if you were to place a hydraulic cylinder where your strap is and have 15/20 foot hoses you could increase your work immensely, thank you for sharing.

put a pulley on the bucket and then use a winch to do the pulling. you won't have to keep resetting.
Good afternoon, That is a great idea. Now, you've got me thinking , a pulley attached to a tree on the opposite side of the trail.
