- Perranporth has some of the strongest rip currents in Cornwall and in this video you will see how to stay safe in the sea this summer. As well as giving you tips on we’re to swim to avoid rip currents I also talk about the plastic pollution left behind on one of Cornwall’s most popular beaches. Perranporth unfortunately really suffers from plastic pollution and with my tips to keep the beach clean I will be better for wildlife and visitors to come.

Definitely can't be too safe in that water, man... We've had some really bad rip currents and the ocean is like a washing machine lately... Great tips!!! It's neat you guys have flags designating different areas for different activities. Ours is a free for all... lol
Yes it is great not that anyone pays attention though 😆. I think we adopted the flag system from the Aussies 👍
@@LoveSundays lol.. we have flags but just for water conditions.. red, yellow and green but the green is never flying... oh and black which should discourage anyone from doing anything anywhere close to the ocean... lol It doesn't work though.

Great video I went to Newquay for the weekend weather was wild Friday but Saturday turned out really nice managed do a bit of snorkelling and to try surfing for the first time that feeling of standing up and catching a wave where else in Cornwall would you recommend to go snorkelling?
Yes I think Saturday was the one break in the weather that we needed. Snorkelling wise I would recommend the south coast beaches such as Maenporth in Falmouth and Gunwallow also Kynance cove is supposed to be amazing for snorkelling but I’m waiting till summer to hit that one 👍

Porthallow and prussia cove are a couple of great spots for snorkeling and porthousetock is also well worth a look 👌

Great advice im part of a litter picking group on Facebook its such a shame seeing the litter that rubbish leave behind and no i said that correctly.

Beautiful video and a lot of good advice :) If there is any downside by walking the South West Coast Path from place to place and with overnight reservations, it is that it is too little time to explore the places I am passing. Like the caves at Perranporth had to be dropped due to high tides. So this is lovely to be able to see now :)

@@LoveSundays yes hopefully June to see all the new flowers 😊 We are yet not supposed to travel to other countries. And we also have to make the accommodation reservations quite early. Some places there is just one B&B so there are limitied options. Normally we do that about a half year before we arrive in the UK.

Dogs on leads thought that was policy
That’s what I thought also. No one seemed to be stopping them though so I think dogs are allowed off the lead at the far end of the beach
