somewhat simple and elegant Ornament tree. Dont have any ornaments worthy of such a masterpiece? JUST MAKE YOUR OWN! In this tutorial we build the tree, base AND ornaments. The ornaments are created from cutting two rings using a hole saw. Paint, stain, or decorate your wooden Christmas trees as desired.
Happy building!

I've watched 9 million wood working videos, well it feels like it anyway. You by far are a lot more fun to watch, and yea I learn something every time. You show your processes on how you figure out a joint (the flipping cart), and you make me laugh with your jokes and not a half bad singer (actually you are very very good). Keep it up! Thank you.
Thanks Rick :) glad you are enjoying the content!
Thank you for this video. I watched it yesterday and made it yesterday afternoon. My wife loved it!
Sweet! Glad she liked it! And my brother's name is Lance ;)
That's great! Is there some way I can send you a clip of the project?
I just got a facebook page up and running so you guys can share projects and pictures with myself and one-another :)

Thank you for your videos. You keep it real and simple. I play around with woodworking and have watched and follow others. But you sir are keeping it next to my leave. May you be blessed. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thanks Nick! Glad I can provide some inspiration ;)
Great video, I think I would put the split ring on last to make it easier to get the nail in.
For sure! That would save a little frustration :)
This is a great project. You can put as much or little time you want to achieve the end product. Much more sanding (yuck) contrasting woods, staining etc. Thanks! !! !!!
True that! Lol :)
I love cleverness! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Gary!! :)
Ok, if I did one of these it would stay home. To much “fiddling” around to make many to sell. Thanks for being so complete on your explanations.
The ornament is a bit tricky, just add a hook and let the customer hang whatever ornament they would like :) I see those quite often
Fun build! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the comment! :)
Bustin out the tunes!

I love your hole saw ornaments but I would love to see your cedar hanger disc I would really appreciate it thank bill
Thanks buddy :) i dont have paper plans for the cedar discs, but they are easy to knock out with a hole saw, check out the video :)

Thanks buddy! :)
Love this project to try
Sweeet! Its a fun build!
I love the video. However I have never seen super glue and activator- can you tell me what that is that you are using please?
I have only found activator spray at Ace Hardware (not Hobby Lobby, Lowes, Home Depot, etc). But you can also buy it online :) it speeds up the drying time and makes a better bond. Does not effect the wood
Did you stain all parts before you put it together thanks bill
I finished mine afterwards, but it would be a Grade A idea to stain/paint the pieces before assembly :)
Just hang the wood over the edge of the bench, then hit it hard so it brake at the two thin parts, then you can put the pins and ball, then glue back together without seeing its been snapped...
Never took karate, but its a good way to access those spots :)
Tyler.. I mean Aaron - why did you use the paper washers instead of the metal washer supplied with your hole saw kit? I am thinking due to the thickness of the washer and using the wood holes for the spin-y ornament but wanted to be sure? Thanks! Mark from Louisville
Louisville IL or Kentucky? I used the paper ones so i had space on the arbor for both hole saws, and so it's easier to unlock them afterwards :)
@@WhosTheVoss Kentucky sir... The other Louisville must be a lesser place! (Typed with a comically Southern accent in mind) Kidding , but yes, Kentucky.
Ok, so yes space is an issue however it's because of the arbor and not size/thickness of the wood ornamental spin-y thing.
Watch band springs would work for your axis
Interesting idea! :)
👍💯👍. Thank you 🙏🏻
❤️😀🤷😎 oooo a heart ;) thanks buddy!
Fight Christmas decorations..... who'd have thought about it....

@@WhosTheVoss Gotta love auto correct! That was supposed to say "figit" Christmas decorations
