We were in Bryson City about 11 years ago for our grandson to ride on Thomas The Train. That was a fun time. Looks like the town has picked up some since we were there.
I am actually closer to West Jefferson / Jefferson, NC than I am to Damascus VA. Boone, NC is closeby too. I'm so blessed to live so close to such awesome tourist / vacation towns; my home is a great staycation place but I prefer Pigeon Forge by far than anywhere else.
Y'all should go see Tim The Appalachian Story Teller behind the GSMRR Depot. He would love to be featured on a vlog I bet. He has a wealth of knowledge of the area.
Looks like a neat town to visit. Thanks for sharing. I love the Cuban sandwiches too. Yum! I love old trains.

Your videos are helpful. New to the East Coast and your travel videos are appreciated. Thank you.
Great to hear!
There is a little red caboose in Damascus, VA; we're about 30 minutes from there where we live in Mountain City, TN at the state line at Creston, NC.
Thanks Theresa for the great comments! I am planning to do some vloging in the spring around your area so keep tuned.
