Maaaann....I come back to this video every once in a while, as it made me buy this board, when it was released. Still got it, still shreddin' many years later🤙🏾 Good shit ya'll
I’m exactly the same, got this board when I was 11 and still watch this vid and shred with it now that I’m 21
@darcywade2711 Hell yeah. It's definitely one of the best boards they've released
I would LOVE to see this board be rereleased with the same construction or at the very least have the current roster try out some of the boards from 2010-2012. It'd be dope af.
They currently have some for sale in their scratch/ dent section online. Have to say they are exactly how I remember them 🙌
Its one of my favorite boards ever, good at high speeds, locks you in on slides, and the kicktail makes it even more fun. Its also fun to just cruise around on.
This is amazing no wheelbite even with my 72mm freerides. Love it! Best buy of a board ever!
I can't stop watching this my peacemaker should come tomorrow. This is like my 6th time today watching this
Coming in the mail on Tuesday, never have I been more excited for a board !
you guys did a really really good job of making me want one of these.
Best music choice ever. Nice work...
Peacemaker forever ✌🏻
If you watch Landyachtzes first videos, and then their more recent ones, the filming and general quality is so much nicer.
Nice choice of music, i love red fang
Props for putting a sweet rock song on, mad skating but the energy from the song really makes the video
This video proves longboarding is progressing fast and in the right direction too!
I love you, Landyachtz.
I'm over 6 foot. Have a ripple ridge. Funnest board I've ever ridden. Great for town commuting, ollying up pavements with ease (board has tons of pop). Very responsive. Great for dodging pavements, manholes, street poles etc. also awesome for throwing down some standup slides.
Although I'm looking at getting a peacemaker specifically for sliding and freeriding (something longer). But if you're looking for a small board for downtown commuting I couldn't recommend the ripple ridge enough!
defanitly the best quality make for longboards by far!
Amazing, we're back to the ramp decks of the '80s.
old school...
i like it! :D
Hot damn. I'm on the verge of ordering my Daisy, and then I come across this glorious video and board. Eff me and this decision I have to make. Probably going to be the hardest decision I've ever had to make.
36" peacemaker is a mad beast of a board. like he says, a true allrounder. kicktail has a good pop, its handy enough for cruising and if you like high speed bombing, even that is no prob at all. the concave locks me in so nicely, i love this board
Depends on preference. The daisy is a bit longer, so you can keep your feet between the trucks when sliding. The peacemaker is unique because when you ride it your back foot is outside of the wheelbase, so rotational slides are easier to kick out. long slides are harder tho.
It's great for downhill, the wheelwells behind with the kick make a nice pocket for your foot. I suggest placing a brushing on the top side of your board for your front foot to lean against for foot placement.
The spots these guys ride look so dope!
I've hung out with Travis. Dude not only shreds, he's really nice.
This song is very joyful.......
finally a vid for it! the peacemaker is diirrty! :)
the ripple ridge is more for cruising and chillin but the peacemaker is foor everything but mainly freeride ive got the peacemaker and its awesome!
The kid is doing 20 ft toesides down a huge hill and kickflipping off a set the next clip, definitely talented.
thats how board reviews should be done
Thanks for the review! Definitely getting a Ripple Ridge as my next board.
I got this board yesterday its sick, i skated park, street, downhill everything its so sick
Good comment... Interesting enough The Peacemaker is only 8 plies! Sorry for the confusion.
Just got this board two days ago, loving it
Just got my grease shark............ BUT NOW I WANT THIS SO BADLY! This dude makes it look so steely
this looks so awesome
Cool video and the music is sick!
Looks like such a fun board!
Well, the Wolfshark is a pretty awesome board, but I definitely think you will be happy with your decision in the end. The foot pocket is really comfortable and the kick tail... well kick tails just make everything better.
ive been waiting for a company to make this board! its the perfect texas board!!:D
landyachtz stock setup are always a good choice.
Landyz boards are amazing!!
Best LY vid to date.
Man, that thing is so sweet!
I got this board and I love it! It feels just like my vandal and cant wait to ride t in my next race/slide jam!
Landyz riders are amazing!!!!!
Thanx. And I agree we need a loco review
0:48 Man such a juicy kickflip. I'm literally salivating.
*everyone is my key point. saying that no matter how good you are you can still get wobbs, i just saw max capps get wobbles at a race the other day, he was riding a chopped and redrilled brandy with a super small wb. im just saying everyone is limited by their board to an extent, because no matter what speed wobbles are still a possiblity.
god i just love landyachtz
I currently own both. I ride the Peacemaker almost every day. So i would go with that but i use the Switchblade for DH.
I love Red Fang!
Such a nice board got mine a few days ago is awesome for everything named it "Yogi"
The 2 are really great at sliding, but with the peacemaker, your back foot is right on the trucks, so it mean more control in slides, and you have to a nice kick tail to blunt slide like Travis!
Good job w/the video Guff! It's rad.
haha me too. so relieved to finally make a purchase. now i have to endure the shipping wait.
new one looks sick
just incase anyone was wondering, this board is EXTREMELY LIGHT!!!! like seriously! my friend just got it, and we went to the skatepark, which by the way it is very good for, IT WAS LIGHTER THAN MY STREET DECK!
finally a good board for hitting rocks and playing golf
the 37 is super sick. you can go moderately fast on it (ive almost gone 50km/h on it). i learned how to ollie on it, and its sick for freeriding.
I already have a wolfshark but I think I'm going to get this board for commuting and parks.
deciding between this and the switchblade!
Just got this board today :) stoked as
this guy is amazing, he raced teutonia on the wolfshark's shortest wheelbase
Hell yeah Red Fang
I'm geting this board soon!
the trooper has bamboo construction making the peacemaker stiffer and better for DH and the trooper doesn't have the super aggressive concave, wheel wells, and fenders (i believe they call them) which i'm guessing is the flaring up of the sides toward the rear wheels
actually i am a skater. i street skate and i downhill skateboard. incase you didn't know, street skating and downhill skating are two totally different things. for street i obviously like my foot on the tail so i can do tricks but if i was riding a dh board with a tail (like the peacemaker) i would like a big platform so i can move my feet around without having my back foot on the tail on all times because in my opinion that is a bit awkward feeling. btw i'm 13 and recently took 3rd in a jam.
Yeah I'd like to do freeriding/sliding, a little bit of downhill and maybe some ollies and skate in a few banks... That's why I don't know between the Peacemaker and the Switchblade...
sooo sick board!
Yes, depends how loose you like your trucks though. I put on 70mm butterballs and got a bit of wheelbite, until I put on some 5mm risers.
THAT was so dope
Red Fang FTW!!!:)
Own this board and love it
i'm so gonna buy that board!
The dinghy doesn't need a review. It's just a small freeride board with a little bit of concave and good and carving.
it depends really. 23 is a very short wheelbase so it will be especially tweaky and turny on DH runs but if you are used to that then it could be super fun. i could probably take a wheelbase that long to 30mph maybe 35.
you should check out the comet ethos 40, it has a kicktail so you can ollie and stuff, you can freeride on it, and its big enough to do fast DH
Now THIS is skateboarding!
this board is AMAZING. I have a 2015 (UFO Graphic) Peacemaker 32 with 63mm 78a Fattie Hawgs. Perfect for NYC cruising. Kick tail gets me off curves nicely and the 78a wheels eats cracks/bumps/rocks like a dream. I sprayed painted the bottom of the board all Matte Black. Not a fan of the juvenile graphic. This board is highly recommended. Its 9" x 32" Polar Bear trucks Included. Comes with some ok wheels but I upgraded and put on those wheels I mentioned. GET IT! Its a stocky cruiser.
Travis is now my new favourtie rider
the kicktail gives so much leverage for standup slides.
i have the 32 and it is great for freeriding, but it is like the hardest thing to tuck on so if you tuck a lot i would recommend the 36
Sem Westerveld the hardest thing to tuck on is a penny
@Naptown Longboard nelson just started putting a kick on the stingray, earlier versions didnt have one
Yea I actually know a skate shop worker who owns one. I was messing with it in shop and I have to say it's a fun board.
Ok! Thank you! Imma check them all out before buying :D
It might actually work for that. I was skeptical too, but its pretty much a Comet Voodoo Doll with a kick tail
this is basically a longer ripple ridge with slight differences(peacemaker is longer). in my opinion this is better because, the ridge seems to be more of a commuter than freeride.
There's loads of them on the market already, Nelson tempest is my favorite for that
that reminds me of the tommy guerrero part in future primitive, back in '85. funny seeing them try to sell it as the new hot shizzle. nice skating tho
landyachtz boards are the best!!!!!!!
peacemaker=oldschool skate/ freeride ; switchblade= freeride/downhill...idk what riding you want to do but i like the peacemaker personally
Great board, a little bit hard to ollie if you're used to a street deck, but definitely do-able. Just feels really good underfoot for carving and sliding
just ordered this board!
ya i wish it was 8 too. Feeling my old ethos to my mini vugenhausen makes me wish the ethos had less plies. 8 plies is the future
dog, i did think before i commented. i'm aware an ethos is pretty much the same thing but i was just giving an idea and i would love to see how landyachtz would make the board and what the specs and all that stuff would be like because this has way different concave than the ethos so it actually would be a bit different.
depends on the wheels and truck settings....but it should take any 70-72 mm wheel fine
That looked like the sickest skatepart ever! Where was the spot at 1:52 ?
This board or the bamboo ripper? I would like a bamboo board but this one looks so nice!
with the right set up, than YES
The board is as sweet as the song!!!
