You need the advance Textile bench to make platinum weave. You should get the Hunting and mining armor from the workshop. They work great. They are better than the armor you are using. They complement your stats when hunting or Mining. You can repair your workshop armor at the repair bench. You have to put it in your inventory and then right click on each piece and repair it. The repair armor button doesn't work for workshop armor. The 45deg logs still work. I use 3 45deg stone pillars. They seem to be smoother to walk up then the logs. Oh and you don't have to return to the station to respec him. When you log in and pick the character you want to use, you can then respec him before you load your open world game. Good Vid
