OMG you were all so cute, especially Koa. Who would have thought he'd keep the costume on!! I love Halloween but my son HATED it. it was far too scary. We would get all dressed up and then go to two houses and he would say "all done let's go home!" and home we would go. So so fun experiencing it with you. The decorated houses were amazing. Nothing like that here in San Francisco.

Jess in the haunted house!! LOL, and you didn't even go to the Fear Factory which is supposed to be actually haunted. ;) That slinky dog costume was so freaking cute (the whole theme was amazing). Glad you got to see the crazy houses at Daybreak.
When Bec put on the dinosaur outfit, that was the hardest I had ever heard Steven laugh. Classic! And you guys must add one more to your theme park vlog list - Knotts Scary Farm. The original and still the best Halloween theme park. Better than Universal in my opinion.
They do the build a house in Australia, only they use KitKats. Remember never to take Jess to Universal Halloween Horror Nights. What an awesome family costume.Loved that the dog was also included.
Jess's reactions to the spooky stuff were priceless! I couldn't stop laughing. Stephen's laughter just made it even funnier. The costumes were amazing! You guys really outdid yourselves. It's clear that you put a lot of thought and effort into them.

Hunter will want to celebrate Halloween again next year. It could be a tradition with your good friends. Christmas can be celebrated each year in Australia with your families. I hope following your Expedition Trip in Peru, you are flying back to Australia to spend Christmas with Jess's parents and siblings in Queensland before returning home to Perth.

Its interesting how Halloween is changing in America. It used to be more about trick or treating but now a lot of families opt to only do "trunk or treats." Ive never seen a halloween gingerbread house before - how cute!
We live in Utah and we love Frightmares. I hate the haunted houses, though. My mom decided to brave one with my husband. He told me later that she spent the whole time trying to crawl underneath the back of his t-shirt. 🙂
In Germany the Halloween is not celebrated like America but in my city there is an American neighborhood that celebrate it and decorate their yards. Like your customs, so cool.

umm i think we've sprinkled it in on how we met them but essentially we flew out to Utah to see a different friend and we had booked an Airbnb in Utah, then the Grinceri's offered for us to stay with them and that was the start of it :)

Downtown Salt Lake City there is a haunted house where they can touch you. It's kind of freaky. Lol. In Logan utah a week before Halloween they do a pumpkin walk at a park. There will be scenes from books and movies made out of pumpkins. It is amazing what some of them do.
There is a place called Gardner's Village where they do breakfast with a witch for little kids. Then they also do a dinner show for adults. Alot of people will dress up as witches a couple weeks leading up to Halloween.
haha yeah i actually could not believe how expensive Lagoon was - like coming up to the same price as Disney which is isane!! especially on the aussie dollar!
The only haunted house I went to was when I was about 10 (My teenage sister and her friends took me to it), I literally did not make it 1 foot inside the door before saying "NO" left and threw up 🤢 The staff was brilliant and kind, they made sure I was okay, one talked me through how they made some of the effects (which was cool but why I won't eat Ketchup any more), and they even showed me a spot where I could wait for my sister and her friends to give them one final jump scare 😜

I moved near Daybreak earlier this year. It was so much fun seeing those houses for the first time this year.
