I NEED to compliment the interviewer - what a professional and sensible guy. I loved it when he started the question about _My little love_ saying that he wanted to be gentle and that it wasn't his intention that she talked about anything she didn't want. And he talks to her so carefully and attentively. Can we have more people like him in the media?? ❤️
Absolutely! I thought the same thing. What happens when two thoughtful, reflective, aware and real people use their talents in a way that is not self promoting, gimmicky or sensationalist. Such a pleasure to watch and sadly such a rarity to experience. Big congrats to both of them for giving so much food for thought. I had to write down some of Adele’s responses because they were so real and insightful.

@Warrenw76 I think Adele wanted to continue the interview because she felt it was like a therapy session, and she felt comfortable in it, as all was proububly felt the same way, and Tom was very gentle and professional, congrats for nice work!

Don't like 30 as much as 21or 25 / most of the songs sound like they should be sang in a cocktail bar with a piano and nothing else very jazzy & Ella Fitzgerald not for me sorry Adele 😫
I think she was making a point that magnified moments in life does not mean life is not being engaged in and experienced thoroughly between those moments.
I read something a critic wrote about Adele, and it’s that “Adele has largely stood aside from the miniaturization and gimmickiness of current pop hitmaking. She can; she’s one of the few remaining stars with ardent fans across multiple generations, and she keeps her ear on pop’s history more than on fleeting trends“. And I could not agree more. She makes the music SHE wants to make and the music she thinks will help others. It’s why she seems to be in a different league to her peers in the industry. She’s very insightful and personable in interviews too (not to mention she has the voice of an angel). Very deserving of her success. And this was a great interview.
Exactly! I think thats why her music is soo timeless. You can go back and play older Adele music and it doesn’t seem old or gimmicky. Its still withstands the test of time.
Could’ve not been said any better! She makes what she wants to make, her penmanship is outstanding, and she makes music that transcends eras or periods in time, the music she makes is timeless just like her voice!
Prince was also an artist that made music for music’s sake and if you wanted to know what was in his heart you simply needed to listen to his his lyrics and music throughout his lifetime. He never followed trends. He never worried about charts. He fought Warner Bros for over 20 years for the ownership of his master recordings and now fellow artists finally see the importance of owning their music. Real musicians like Prince and Adele will forever be adored by their legions of fans because we recognize organic greatness and real music.

It's only been a day but I already think 30 is my favourite Adele album. Have been listening non stop since it came out. It's a whole journey this album... you go from crying to dancing to deep thoughts and self-reflection. The last time I was this moved by an album was when she released 21.

She’s a deep thinker if your a deep thinker then her voice, her lyrics, her story speaks and touches people that’s why from young to old from UK to America she reaches so many people, Some people aren’t deep and only hear the music and not the lyrics that’s fine but deep people connect differently to music, I’ve always been very deep from being a young child and a connection to music it’s saved me from my violent upbringing and stuff I haven’t dealt with yet and probably never will.
Craig, you seem very self-aware. I had a horrible childhood too. That "stuff" never leaves us. But we learn to understand how it formed our personalities. I wish you well. Yes, Adele is amazing!
Oh Sweetie please try and find a way to deal with it. I know I am broken 💔 but I am here for you if you ever want to talk. I need help emotionally due to so much trauma but I'm here if you need a shoulder to lean on. We all deserve peace and I am trying to find mine but I am here for you and even though I am a stranger maybe we could help each other...
As a journalist it is incredible to see such an honest interview. So much respect for Adele, especially for someone who is so incredibly private, to open up about the personal struggles she has faced. Hope in an album. "Just hold on". Something we all need during these unprecedented times.
I've been one of Adele's number one fans since her album 19. She taught me everything I know about how to truly write deep from the heart. Nobody does it like her, though.
GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!!! Adele, seriously Beautiful woman with a Beautiful soul! Tom is a legit master of his craft! Incredible interview from start to finish.
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, known professionally as Adele, is an English singer and songwriter who has achieved international acclaim for her powerful vocals, emotive performances, and deeply personal lyrics. Born on May 5, 1988, in Tottenham, London, Adele's meteoric rise to fame began in 2008 with the release of her debut album, "19." Adele's distinctive voice, characterized by its soulful and rich tones, quickly set her apart in the music industry. Her breakthrough single, "Chasing Pavements," earned her widespread recognition and won her the first of many Grammy Awards. The success of "19" established Adele as a force to be reckoned with in the music world. However, it was her 2011 album, "21," that catapulted Adele to global superstardom. The album, inspired by heartbreak and personal experiences, featured hit singles like "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You." "21" became one of the best-selling albums of all time, earning Adele numerous accolades, including six Grammy Awards in one night. Known for her ability to connect with listeners on a profound emotional level, Adele's music often explores themes of love, loss, and resilience. Her introspective lyrics, coupled with her soul-stirring performances, have resonated with a diverse audience around the world. After a brief hiatus, Adele made a triumphant return in 2015 with her third studio album, "25." The lead single, "Hello," became a global phenomenon, breaking records and reaffirming Adele's status as a musical powerhouse. The album continued her streak of critical and commercial success, earning her additional Grammy Awards. In addition to her musical achievements, Adele is celebrated for her authenticity and down-to-earth personality. She has been praised for her honesty in discussing her struggles with body image and the challenges of fame, making her a relatable and admired figure. Adele's impact on the music industry extends beyond her chart-topping hits; it lies in her ability to transcend genres and captivate audiences with the raw emotion in her music. As of my knowledge cutoff in January 2022, Adele remains a highly influential and respected artist, and her future endeavors are eagerly anticipated by fans worldwide. I love you Adele I write an essay about you,
Absolutely beautiful conversation between two authentic people. This is what we’re missing. Great interviewer and she is just incredibly talented, wise and kind soul ❤
This woman is real and just wants to be real. She just wants to live her life like the next person. She has no ego and lays her life bare on the table for all to see. No false pretense. Adele you are so humble. Through her poetry and words and music she shares all her intimate feelings of her life and gives us a look at who she really is. What an amazing gift.
Being brought up when younger between cheshunt and Enfield, as a adult and the university of life her realness and humbleness will always be her most amazing accests to me and why I will always relate with a few things with her. As I'm sure many do
Great interview Tom. It was so nice to watch Adele let her guard down as she realized you’d truly listened to the album and were there to talk to her as a musician and not just as a “star.”
Exactly, you could tell he was talking to her as someone who understood it was an act of expression and reflection on some very rough times, not just a cool thing she did at work
Absolutely brilliant interview candid and heart warming. Adele is a class act with a GOD given talent wow what a voice just finished listening to 30 a masterpiece from start to finish 👏 🙌 ❤
I've had a crush on Adele since 19 & she is even more smokin hot now. If she ever retires, she could definitely model. To Be Loved is definitely my favorite song off the new album.
i love that she put “my little love” out there. angelo is gonna grow up and hear it and be really appreciative and see how strong of a woman his mom is.
One true artist and singer amidst a myriad of worthless music. Even though I love rock and metal, I can't deny how much talent this woman has. Amazing.
Great interview! Interviewer is super prepared and easy going, and Adele is so open and honest about her life experiences and the process of making the album. '30' is a masterpiece to me - it's really different from anything she's done before in terms of production and her experimentation with sounds/genres. The whole album was a ride. And I've loved everything she's done since '19', but '30' was a whole other level. It was just soo therapeutic in a way I can't even explain. I loved it so much and I'm SO glad she decided to release it after contemplating not doing so.
“The middle” I love that. Not knowing it for myself because I lived a difficult beginning. My daughters have shown me that people really do learn so much about themselves when they are in their 20’s. When your 30’s come around you do seem to have that mountain carved out, to some extent. Adele wrote and sings about “The middle” so beautifully.
I cried so much listening to the album and watching this interview. I was really worried about Adele because the emotions she expresses in the album are all feelings I feel on the daily and it hurts. I am so relieved that she’s doing better. Everything she said was so powerful and relatable. Very inspiring.
im not gonna try to sit here and hot sauce anything but real talk after listening to this album and really paying attention to the lyrics and what shes trying to tell us i sat here and shed a few tears cuz i could relate to some of the things and feelings she was going through and it really hit home for me..i hope everyone can appreciate what a gift she has given to us by her being so vulnerable and letting us into her personal life with this album..hearing her say that with her job comes being a celebrity and she ain't into all that and hates being a celebrity just shows to you how humble and down to earth type of girl she is and what you see is what you get and it makes us love her even more for being so real..thank you adele this is exactly what the whole world needed right now during these scary and uncertain times its like a breath of fresh air for all of us she is truly and angel sent from above to help the world heal..god bless her
Brilliant interview! She’s so articulate and her honesty is very refreshing! Really enjoyed how she shared the process and found it super insightful. Love her, such an icon ❤️ the album is amazing, with all the feels xxx
handsdown one of the best interviews i‘ve ever seen! such a warm and sympathic vibe from both of em! great & natural conversation! and i love the new album! in my opinion her best work to date💗
This is a wonderful interview because Tom talks about the music and asks Adele interesting questions about her songs. He understands music and has listened to Adele’s album. A lot of interviewers only want to talk about a musician’s personal life and ignore the music.
I 100% feel her music. It's overwhelming how she is able to express her emotions so strongly that I can barely take it in. Extremely powerful experience. I will never forget this album. THANK YOU Adele, you have no idea what you have done for this world, especially with everything we are going through now.
Bloody hell! The interviewer is really great! Their conversation felt so natural and it just all feels so comfortable. It's wonderful, enjoyed it A LOT.
When I listen to Adele, I’m always blown away by her sincerity and genuine-ness (is that even a word?). She’s not gimmicky, or phony, or interested in writing/singing for the purpose of fame - she’s REAL! She writes/sings from her heart - about real problems, troubles, heartbreak, strength, weakness, and progress. And, I for one, can relate to many of the songs on this new album. She put into words many things that I’ve thought or felt at one time or other in my life. Adele is a treasure!
If she is that genuine, why did she have all that cosmetic surgery...her nails, her hair, all fake...and she appears very self conscious. I guess I see what others don’t.
@robynhope219• she is genuine but she has evolved physically, and I think she is really stunning. So what if her hair has been changed & her nails are manicured. She is fabulous.
I love how respectful the interviewer was towards Adele. At first I was worried, he might be too serious for her personality but when they shared their first laugh, all worries dissipated.
This interview was so wholesome! The interviewer did such a great job balancing the depth of Adele's new album and life experiences, while being respectful of her privacy! What a joyous dialogue to watch!
What a fantastic interview! Probably the best one I have ever seen. It was like listening to two old friends having a catch up after not seeing each other for a while. I would love to be able to tell Adele to her face just how brave she is, what a wonderful gift she gives to all of her fans every time she so openly gives her innermost feelings to her music and how every emotion comes through so real in her songs. There aren’t many artists who can, or would, do that. She is also a fantastic mother and Angelo will grow into a fine young man. Her respect for her ex husband is also very inspiring and a great inspiration to others who have to navigate a divorce. So much I could say if I ever had the opportunity….
✨💖 Her current look reminds me of 80’s Brooke Shields with blonde hair. She’s always breathtaking in each chapter with a cheeky, fun, deep personality. Love, love, love her as an artist and person. 💖✨
I don’t listen to much of her music, but she is such a smart girl. I admire her honesty and ability to not let fame get in the way of being human. She sounds like a great mum too. I might give her more of a listen after seeing this.
Glad to hear that! You definitely should. I still think '21' is a masterpiece. Released in 2011 but I think it still holds up to its title as one of the greatest albums of this century.
Tom Power, is one of the fewest most intelligent interviewers ever. He has the charm, he's handsome, and those locks are to die for! Adele is in always in her most usual brilliance, honesty, and deep beauty. This video is one of the most refreshing interviews to watch for.
How she carries herself and how introspective she is is really inspiring! The interviewer blew me away! Such a kind, repectful way to lead the interview and add a personal touch to it! In awe
I don't really listen to her music (and I know I should) but everytime I watch an interview with Adele in it, I fall in love with her more and more. Such a genuine spirit
‘My little love’ is just beautiful 💕 I was in a similar situation with my son’s father and the song really touched me. Will always love Adele, I hope she always maintains her London accent 😊
This is possibly the best interviewer I've ever seen. The interviewee opened up all on her own because he was not pushing. I'm amazed and how classy he is.
She is so wise! I love that we're so close in age so her albums have been like a soundtrack to my grown up life. Her albums have been the therapy that I've never had the nerve to get for myself. I said on another video that I was scared of this album because I didn't feel ready to face my feelings like her albums make me do. But after this interview, I'm excited to listen. When she talks about entering your 30's and looking inward and evolving and leaving behind the traits of yourself you don't like... brilliant. Then to make an album that encapsulates that... man!
This is so so exactly how I feel abojt essentially yes being her age and growing up with her and felt with this album, is so the therapy we know we need and are excited for but also terrified of the demons it might make us have to face.
What I love and admire about Adele you see her beautiful soul and how real she is . A beautiful light ✨💫. (Why blend in when you can stand out is my motto . ) You don’t see that anymore. We are living in a different generation. Having listen to the beautiful track on her son and her embracing each other’s thoughts it touched me also at the end her talking about how she felt. That’s how I feel … I would say I’m an introvert I love my own space and used to being on my own .. but I feel lonely at the same time and my anxiety makes me overthink. I can’t win I never used to be like this either it’s almost like I’ve got to reinvent myself instead of living in the past . I’m slightly autistic which makes me an odd duck . But I love the lost and forgotten people that are different and unique
I really want you both to be best of friends. What a connection between these two beautiful souls. What a sensitive interviewer and Adele feels safe in his space he has created. Beautiful, beautiful interview. Thank you

I feel so understood when she talks like she knows me. I would love to just sit and listen to her advice every day!
Iv never come across anyone who is as self aware as Adele, it's really remarkable. She so intune with her emotions
WHY IS SHE SO AMAZING. I could listen to her sing AND talk all day
for sure; ditto!!!!!
I've been one of Adele's number one fans since her album 19. She taught me everything I know about how to truly write deep from the heart. Nobody does it like her, though.
HiFive man. Same here. Since 2009
Adele is such a gift to humanity. Bless her for traversing these lows…resulting in the ability to give us this art.🌟
This was a great interview. When Adele asks for more time you’ve done something right in your career!
Born on May 5, 1988, in Tottenham, London, Adele's meteoric rise to fame began in 2008 with the release of her debut album, "19."
Adele's distinctive voice, characterized by its soulful and rich tones, quickly set her apart in the music industry.
As I'm sure many do
adele's such a joy to be around in her interviews. im addicted to watching her
Off topic but man she is so gorgeous
Love her openness, her honesty and spontaneous answers. She's just great in every way. Lover her songs. Very raw and organic!
Great interview Tom. It was so nice to watch Adele let her guard down as she realized you’d truly listened to the album and were there to talk to her as a musician and not just as a “star.”
Exactly, you could tell he was talking to her as someone who understood it was an act of expression and reflection on some very rough times, not just a cool thing she did at work
She is so real to be the singer everyone loves. No pretense in this girl. You can't help but fall in sync with her, in love with her soul.
This show he hosts is called Q and it is on CBC radio. The show is always good. Tom Power is fantastic.
I love how smooth the flow of this interview is. It’s an actual conversation.
handsdown one of the best interviews i‘ve ever seen! such a warm and sympathic vibe from both of em! great & natural conversation! and i love the new album! in my opinion her best work to date💗
This is a wonderful interview because Tom talks about the music and asks Adele interesting questions about her songs. He understands music and has listened to Adele’s album. A lot of interviewers only want to talk about a musician’s personal life and ignore the music.
Adele is such a soulful down-to-earth woman. Great interview!👏🏻❤️
I 100% feel her music. It's overwhelming how she is able to express her emotions so strongly that I can barely take it in. Extremely powerful experience. I will never forget this album. THANK YOU Adele, you have no idea what you have done for this world, especially with everything we are going through now.
Hii, do you want enter a fan group of adele ??
Absolute queen. Elegant, calm, polite and down to earth. She’s so easy to listen to. I love her voice!
Adele is one of the most REAL famous person I’ve seen. Great conversation and interview on both parties. Bravo to you both!!! 💜🙏😇
She knows how to make people feel special. That interviewer was lovely but she was lovelier. Her humility is truly mesmerising
Adele being everyone’s therapist for 30 minutes 👏🏼 I’m eating this up
And just how well spoken she is and how fascinating her mind is. I could listen to her talk all day.
She is such a beautiful, inspiring and powerful woman. Everything she says is so poetic, she carries herself so well. I absolutely adore her.
Hii, do you have ig ( instagram) ?
This interview was so wholesome! The interviewer did such a great job balancing the depth of Adele's new album and life experiences, while being respectful of her privacy! What a joyous dialogue to watch!
i love how she praises him at the end for giving such a good interview. so cute
This is such an intellectual interview both are so poetic. I love this interview I feel like I never want this to end
“I really disrespected that friendship that I have with music” Adele
love this💕
For me, this is the album I’ve been missing and didn’t realize how much I needed it until I heard it.
Goshhhh Adele truly is my inspirational strength. She shows us that the journey won’t be easy but you will make it! As long as you got yourself!
I don’t listen to much of her music, but she is such a smart girl. I admire her honesty and ability to not let fame get in the way of being human. She sounds like a great mum too. I might give her more of a listen after seeing this.
You definitely should!
In awe
He's a true fan. You know he REALLY listened to the album.
One of the most authentic and relaxed interviews I’ve seen with Adele. She was so incredibly comfortable here. So enjoyed this! 💜
Verrrru well said
I mean she's 30 so yeah 😢😅😊 😁👍 so she's older than me so if course she's going to be wise for her age I guess

From a medical worker overwhelmed by COVID, THANK YOU for great music to help us release our pent up emotions
to hear her say 'I'm naturally a sad person' - how honest, brave and to be truthful, I related to
I really want you both to be best of friends. What a connection between these two beautiful souls. What a sensitive interviewer and Adele feels safe in his space he has created. Beautiful, beautiful interview. Thank you
Best interviewer ever. It truly feels like a best friends conversation. So smooth and function and brilliant and good to hear and see. Love them
'I'm naturally a sad person but I don't want live like that'
I can relate to that a lot....
0:11 THANKU~ OOOOO~~~ love it
As a journalist and TV producer, it is the biggest compliment when a guest wants to extend the interview. This conversation is a gem!
She’s so “present” in so many ways to us, here and now. Blessing 🎤 🎵
