Boo hoo! It's exactly arogant illusions like this that keep Anglo-Saxons unaware of truly IMPORTANT languages (Polish CHIEFLY amongst them) when it comes to literature, art, philosophy and many other things that make life worth living. And while I'm in a position to say so - you are certainly not in a position to argue. Wasn't that hard for me to learn three "important" languages. Btw: ALL languages and cultures are important, not only the ones that are most technologically developed.
