Harry, you are truly the best ambassador of this hobby! I have learned so much from all your videos and appreciate your patience with us newbies! Happy Thanksgiving my friend and keep up the great work.
Thanks Harry for the great how to on this set. That will help folks decide what they want. Also want to say thanks for the info on the 1/24 scale cars.We have a couple coming for our small track and were hoping they would run OK with the included power supply.Been some time since we ran the big boys and I have been missing them.
Harry absolutely awesome as usual , you shoot straight from the hip & have been doing it ever since I first started reading your reviews on HRW , so mate it's always a pleasure now listening & watching your videos 👏👏👏
So here's a question. Unless the factory cleans the track, all plastic comes with mold release agents on the surface, which the tires will pick up if the track is coated with it. Wouldn't it be advisable to use some IPA on the track before setting it up?
@@swdw973 no. The track might need a wipe down with a dry cloth. All it needs. It’s not wet or has any release agents in excess. Never seen a set in 25 years with that issue. Just run the cars. Clean tires with masking tape and run some more. Easy. No chemicals .
@@electricfootballhero1349 it does. I showed everything in the box. I would not show them and discuss them if they were not. I haven't purchased an analog set that comes without them. Even the new street and GT sets have them.
I have 2 Strombecker complete 1/24 scale vintage tracks that are 9.25" wide. Also have 3 Strombecker 1/32 7" wude tracks. Plus a Carrera evolution. All work great but Strombecker wide is the bees knees

Harry your review of the winged warrior carrera set back in 2006 is what got my son and myself into slot cars again!!
Wow, that is cool news. THis is why we do it.
Great video I wish that was out when I started
Very clear and easy to understand 👍
Great video thanks for sharing 👍 💥 🏁
Thank you, Harry. Excellent review.
Im so glad I have found your channel! I have been looking for a good breakdown of this set and couldnt find any that did a good review.
Excellent Harry!
I want a small 20' ×40' spare room!
No shit Steve!
Great review for newcomers. Great price too.
Nice review, cool cars and track! 👍
Great video.
Continue the good work.
Great video Harry, you almost had me buying another starter set 🙂
Just subscribe to your channel brother! I ended up getting the box set of all these cars at once. Carrera outdid theirselves once again 🏁
It's a pity Carrera only supplies thumb controllers, but otherwise the set is a great starter into the hobby.
Thank you , NASCAR ❤
Is this a good choice for an old guy,and will it fit on a 4×8' platform? Thank you
Yes on both. Dimensions are shown. 38" x 91" but 4 x 8 gives more room.
Thank you sir
Harry,do you know of any track adittion for this set that will work on 4×8..thank you

This actually comes with guardrails? Because a lot of Evolution sets don't, and there is none shown on the picture of the track on the box.

Hi thanks for the video. Which is the official web site?

Thanks for the video brother 🏁 when you switch to the 1/24 cars do you switch your power supply to the 18?
@@RickyFrench72 well you are supposed to but on a small track it’s fine to me.
@ just checking I wanna get a couple 1/24 cars check it out soon. I’ll probably just buy the power supply just to be safe .
Thanks for a great video as a new comer to the hobby I really appreciate it
How do you measure the number of laps?
@@briannicholls5699 you don’t. It’s a basic set and has no lap counter. All
Low cost entry level sets are the same .
You can download apps on your phone to motion detect laps and timing for free
Thanks Harry 🤠 and great shout-out to the folks @carreraslots! We've gotten excellent service from them for years ✌️💙🇺🇸
What a great video Harry!! We need people to continue to join the hobby and what a great set to start with. 🫡
