    Europeans have DNA philosophy approach and East Asians have Market driven design approach.

      BMW has very much taken on a market driven design approach.

      @@Stiglitz_AE No, he said Honda, you can even hear the trailing -da. Mercedes would take a lot more lip movement. Plus, most German cars have DNA philosophy approach. For one design, all the variants follow the same. Merc, BMW, Audi, Porsche, VW to name a few.

      actually during his time at BMW, BMW become on of the top selling luxury brands in the U.S. market, at one point outselling Mercedes.

    • @strohhalm1326

      panzer6tiger you really shouldn't use Mercedes as a benchmark. Mercedes are bought by posers who want everyone else to think they're rich. BMWs are for car enthusiasts.

    • @panzer6tiger
      @panzer6tiger 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Ci Guy your missing the point. Mercedes in that time was the top selling luxury brand in the States. So for BMW to change there product strategy was a risk that payed off. Your opinion about Mercedes is irrelevant. The companies produce different products but target the same buyers.

      Dude...wth it was the prime of BMW design when he was the chief of design....the "bangle butt" was created by Adrian van Hooydonk and still in use by other cars and companies...in a sentence, he made a dent in history.
