  • The president of Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Kabore, has reportedly been detained at a military camp, amidst concerns of a potential coup in the West African county.
    Heavy gunfire was heard around the President's residence in the capital of Ouagadougou overnight. The government has imposed a country-wide curfew after gunfire erupted on Sunday at multiple barracks in the capital. The soldiers want their commanding officers to be fired for failing to contain a Jihadist insurgency.

      The government did not have money and resources, France take a 80% and leaves the president with only 20% of the national resources. France call it colonial debt. France is a thief and is behind all the unrest in most Francophone countries so that, France can continue to steal. Africa unite to stop France from all the stealing, enough is enough

    Anytime there's coup d'etat, Ecowas leaders imposed sanctions. Another one happens, they imposed sanctions..
    Those sanctions aren't the things that will avert/prevent coup d'etat from happening in West Africa.
    Mali 🇲🇱 => Sanctioned
    Guinea 🇬🇳 => Sanctioned
    Now, Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 => Sanctioned
    Ideally, your sanctions are futile. Ecowas leaders are sleeping 😪

    An extension and product of NATO intervention in Libya which can be categorized as ending in debacle. And the consequences of it are the rapid spread of instability in the west African countries.
    The recent gains in the democratization of these countries are gradually being eroded by military coups. And no doubt a retrogressive development because the military has no right to forcefully arrogate or involved in civil governance.
    It is not helpful in enhancing or strengthening democracy and the rules of law and development.
    And it is sinister for outside power to promote military coup in Africa with a purpose of destroying democracy for geopolitical influence.
