One of them you can see from this youtube channel by our local firefighters, Squad King Cobra Channel (SKC). I would love if one day Chandler could come here and do collaboration with SKC. 😁
@@eggroll5523 no, King Cobra is not endangered spesis in our country like the tiger is. You can find them hanging out in the jungle, palm-tree plantation and sometimes at people's house especially after heavy rain😅 the juvenile always got run over on the road tho.

I figured a snake that can put elephants in the ground would be pretty frightening for people but I would love to be able to see animals like that in the wild closest thing we got to wild shit here is deer and raccoons and one time a mountain lion at one of the schools we’re I live but that’s about it nothing interesting like you guys got.

I actually punched the air and shouted "YES!" as soon as I saw the thumbnail for this video. Seeing Kevin stretching out in that huge enclosure is incredible, and it's amazing that he was already comfortable enough to start eating even in such a massive environment with so many new scents and sights. Can't wait to see it evolve over time and to see how Kevin uses all of its potential! Congrats on finally achieving one of your main goals!
I can't express how happy I am for you and Kevin but let's just be serious that was the most insane feeding with Kevin. This is 50% of the moment I've been waiting for. I'm so excited for Justina to get hers eventually! They are so deserving of such beautiful enclosures! I almost forgot to add, when I moved Sophie, my Colombian red tail, into her new terrarium she went from a really mellow snake to really territorial and food aggressive. My turtles personalities changed a lot when we upgraded their setups too. I think it's just a reptile thing.

@KR not necessarily. Snakes prefer dark areas over light ones. The only reason they go towards light is to bask, which Kevin doesn't really have to do since he's in a temperature controlled room. It is entirely possible that he wad attracted by the movement on the other side of the glass, though.

Dude, this is beyond cool! A couple years ago I had surgery and the recovery took a week and a half and I had to sit in bed the whole time. I discovered your videos then, and your positive attitude and energy and excitement and passion really helped get me through that time. Back then I remember thinking how great of a day it would be when you could finally set Kevin up the way he deserves, and I am so proud you stuck with it so he can assume his throne today. I mean you taught me alot in the years i have been watching you, and i used to be fearful of snakes! Now im an owner of 4 snakes!!! Granted they're only garter snakes, but i feel in love wit em immediately and has helped with my depression and other mental stuff!! it has been an amazing journey to get where iam today, but i really wanted to thank you, because you have been the reason why i gave any snake a chance! i got the cutest juvenile named happy, and 3 little tiny guys who yet have to be named!!! @@okgroomer1966I agree with you. I was recently listening to a reptile expert, giving a short speech about the responsibilities of owning snakes and lizards. He said, "expect to be bitten". I hand feed wild raccoons near my house. Granted, they aren't snakes, but they are wild animals. Just this week, the tamest raccoon nipped me on the hand, while taking her food. It just happened. She wasn't stressed or anxious. It was an accident, but it made me rethink my feeding method. I now use a fork or tongs. Fortunately for me, I get a second chance, unlike a venomous reptile handler, who may not.

She's one to be extra careful of. She's like what I'd say having shark week every week, snarling, growling, grouch lol. Besides jumping into a pond with Miss Toothy. But I agree. I love watching the interaction but getting that close is bordering on stupid. I don’t care how docile Kevin is, he’s still a very deadly animal. It seems Chandler feels the need to keep taking it up a notch for his audience but we don’t need to see another bite.
@KR yea just because he is experienced and has worked with Kevin for years doesn't mean he can't be killed. And if Chandler is killed while he is so young I think people will be mad. Like I say. If I was someone who owned venomous snakes, I'm making a 20 foot snake hook and never touching them with my hands.
If Kevin were to bite him, I'm sure he would be rushed to hospital for anti-venom, & prbly survive... and, would prbly continue to work with Kevin, lol
Kevin was so close to the camera lenses that he gave me goosebumps and heart palpitations. I have touched snakes with their handlers present. I had seen snakes in our ranch since I can remember, I had been taught about colors, heads, seasons and other variants. Taught to pay attention to the horse’s ears and behavior since, the horses can sense the snakes before a human can and we are not kin to lose horses, dogs or cattle to them. Too many encounters to count but, just two accidents with animals from my grandparents time to my time; must of the time the ranch hands just scare the snakes away or relocated the animals and filled the holes with rocks and a plant many of the snakes on this corner of the planet just don’t like, but.. at 16:39 my 🧠 said ohhhh no, not that one. Kevin is on another level. Thanks for the introduction to King Cobra’s, I will never forget how they look, EVER.

Dude, this is beyond cool! A couple years ago I had surgery and the recovery took a week and a half and I had to sit in bed the whole time. I discovered your videos then, and your positive attitude and energy and excitement and passion really helped get me through that time.
Back then I remember thinking how great of a day it would be when you could finally set Kevin up the way he deserves, and I am so proud you stuck with it so he can assume his throne today.

Just wanna say Chandler your an amazing guy teaching and showing us all how these animals need to be protected and observed, not messed with and othe such things. I mean you taught me alot in the years i have been watching you, and i used to be fearful of snakes! Now im an owner of 4 snakes!!! Granted they're only garter snakes, but i feel in love wit em immediately and has helped with my depression and other mental stuff!! it has been an amazing journey to get where iam today, but i really wanted to thank you, because you have been the reason why i gave any snake a chance! i got the cutest juvenile named happy, and 3 little tiny guys who yet have to be named!!! @@okgroomer1966I agree with you. I was recently listening to a reptile expert, giving a short speech about the responsibilities of owning snakes and lizards. He said, "expect to be bitten". I hand feed wild raccoons near my house. Granted, they aren't snakes, but they are wild animals. Just this week, the tamest raccoon nipped me on the hand, while taking her food. It just happened. She wasn't stressed or anxious. It was an accident, but it made me rethink my feeding method. I now use a fork or tongs. Fortunately for me, I get a second chance, unlike a venomous reptile handler, who may not.

Chandler, I’ve been watching you for years and I feel like letting Kevin get that close to your fingers on a python was probably one of the sketchiest things I’ve seen you do lol
Besides jumping into a pond with Miss Toothy. But I agree. I love watching the interaction but getting that close is bordering on stupid. I don’t care how docile Kevin is, he’s still a very deadly animal. It seems Chandler feels the need to keep taking it up a notch for his audience but we don’t need to see another bite.

@KR yea just because he is experienced and has worked with Kevin for years doesn't mean he can't be killed. And if Chandler is killed while he is so young I think people will be mad. Like I say. If I was someone who owned venomous snakes, I'm making a 20 foot snake hook and never touching them with my hands.
If Kevin were to bite him, I'm sure he would be rushed to hospital for anti-venom, & prbly survive... and, would prbly continue to work with Kevin, lol

Kevin was so close to the camera lenses that he gave me goosebumps and heart palpitations. I have touched snakes with their handlers present. I had seen snakes in our ranch since I can remember, I had been taught about colors, heads, seasons and other variants. Taught to pay attention to the horse’s ears and behavior since, the horses can sense the snakes before a human can and we are not kin to lose horses, dogs or cattle to them. Too many encounters to count but, just two accidents with animals from my grandparents time to my time; must of the time the ranch hands just scare the snakes away or relocated the animals and filled the holes with rocks and a plant many of the snakes on this corner of the planet just don’t like, but.. at 16:39 my 🧠 said ohhhh no, not that one. Kevin is on another level. Thanks for the introduction to King Cobra’s, I will never forget how they look, EVER.

It’s incredible to see how comfortable he is around you. Even after a new inclosure he still is as tamed as anything. Your doing and amazing job man! Incredible animal. Justina also is absolutely amazing to and deserves more credit than what she gets. Just a question why don’t you mate Justina with Kevin instead of getting another one in?
