@@iamairsoft yeah, they look like 1:1 replicas just like airsoft, but the projectile is a 7mm gel ball (orbee) - Australian firearm laws are so strict that gel blasters are only allowed in one state, Queensland. In NSW anything resembling a firearm is classed as a firearm. Ridiculously, if you don't have a firearm licence, you can go to jail for possession of a toy. It's insane.
The 416 does have that feature, I'm not exactly sure what happens but it seems like after some use the fire selector wears down internally and then it can easily be put on safety when it's not loaded. When it's new you can't put it on safety when it's not loaded.
You can put a rifle is safe even if it’s not loaded with a round but still in battery mean the gun is cocked so this is normal now if you pull the trigger you won’t be able to put it in safe meaning the gun is not in battery

Hey, just curious, do you have a link for your Maple Leaf hop-up and barrel? I have the same gun (2023 model) with a cheap suppressor, very similar to yours. Should I stick with 270mm or extend the inner barrel as it will extend through to the tip of the suppressor?

Hey man! Thanks for your comment. I upgraded my inner barrel from the standard 6.3mm x 285mm barrel to a 370mm x 6.2mm Maple Leaf inner barrel and I upgraded the hop up rubber and hop up unit to the TNT set. (These are the upgraded I made to my 416D and it's more accurate than my A5 so I recommend this). However you'll need to buy a suppressor that will stay on the gun permanently to compensate for the longer barrel. I use 14kg gas and .4g BB's and I get pretty consistent shots up to 75meters then the BB drops with the above mentioned upgrades. With regards to the magazines. I went to VFC and enquired about P mags or V mags and they recommended I stick with the standard mags issued by VFC as they were the most gas efficient, so honestly I don't have much experience with magz. I hope this helps you man, this is all just may opinion though and I hope you find what works for you!

@@edwang650 😂 it's a good question! I was worries about it to when I first did it. If the suppressor is on skew then yes the BB will hit the inside and break into a million little pieces..sometimes there is a rogue BB but it's so rare.

Hey buddy, it wasn't a long term fix. It works when I rack it with an empty mag perfectly but it doesn't seem to catch after the last BB anymore...sorry for getting your hopes up. I'll go back to VFC at some point and sit with the guys and try figure out how to solve the problem and if I do ill make a video and let you know.
Hey boet- I found this answer on a VFC forum. Just switch out the magazine spring. The factory ones are too soft. This one made by AMG will fix it. They also make parts that will help increase gas efficiency. I highly recommend that you check them out.

1:24 funny, this is a feature on the real rifle’s trigger set, but VFC uses a regular M4 trigger set, so you’re correct. Nice video quality.
