It's not just that. It's also the fact that showing only winning games is really misleading once you try the deck and you are facing unbeatabe sitiuations not shown in videos. Like for ex, what happens if you dont draw shuri when u played the old shuri red skull deck. Anyway losses are very important to learn how to pilot the deck. And not get frustrated.
On the Doom vs. Leader, I would say it's a Doom situation... if he plays small with multiple four costs that are dropped to 2 (since he has Iron Lad and Zabu), he can spread out to keep whatever he wants from going to the mid and since you had priority Leader would copy the card with the highest power before it reveals (if I understand how that works correctly), so you might get a Sentinel. Also, you took his Dr. Doom, so that card would 1.) not give away more of your deck (I don't think he saw Leader yet?), 2.) if he didn't realize it was his Doom, it might mess him up further down the line in the match, 3.) if he puts down his hand that results in lower power across, your Doom would ensure your win in left lane and finally 4.) if he drops 2 on left, Leader only has space to copy one, potentially leading to a problem with copying a low power, like if he dropped Korg, DH and something like Mystique). Love the last battle and the editing... I had a similar thing happen with Odin (seeing him a lot in the meta right now).
Now thats the content I need to see. The "pros" playing like me. Got an easy win...than screwed last turn for 8 cubes. I needed that... makes me feel better. Not cuz you did bad ...but because no matter how well you play this game you can have the rug pulled from under you last turn. That right there got you a sub. Though I have enjoyed your content for awhile. I just wanted to be in the last wave to push you to 100k...either way doing it now will help all the same. Keep up the good work.

Another most excellent video, Cozy. Am keen to see Spider-Ham get a tweak so it properly turns a pig into a pig (without the ongoing buffs etc.) and a change to the cost to avoid the interaction with Zabu/Magneto. It's also a little frustrating when you bounce Spider-Ham and it just hits the pig over and over again but love the use of Scorpion here.

I built something similar to the Toxic Evil deck long ago and it was great at stealing Cubes from the unsuspecting. Now with Spider-Ham it's just pure, concentrated malice.
Hey Cozy really like you video's. If I learned anything about this game is for all the wins you get there are losses coming down the line too. I have to say sometimes I think Man Cozy he wins all his matches as sad as it was that you lost that conquest it's a comfort I am not the only one who looses from time to time.

Cozy, i think you need to revisit Dracula zoo, I created a deck with cards like Omega Red and MORPH and after 100 games I have a 65% win rate with it and have climbed from 83 to near infinite so far
That one game was totally a Doom play, they could've played multiple cards into Baxter to take the advantage, and a big card somewhere else and you'd lose. The safe play was always Doom. I love these style of decks, I made one a few months ago, but with a Wave/Odin engine as well. I rarely play it because it's impossible to win more than 2 cubes at most with.
I have been playing a lot of this style deck, but find it struggles against HE JaneJaw which is probably the deck I see most in Conquest. Not enough power, even with the Darkhawk version. I find it more effective on ladder.
Since you got those new headphones the in-game sound in the vid is very dulled, there's no "punch" behind it. Sounds weird. Probably got to do with some surround sound setting.
I faced this deck twice in gold conquest yesterday and dumpstered it both times with JaneJaw, Dunno if its just a bad matchup or what but the games were not close. SpiderHam was basically just a 1/1 as JaneJaw just has too many big threats to matter.
Oh hey I fought that deck and I beat it. Granted my deck is more for fun than actually winning, but everything has a weakness. I used: Misty Psylock Shocker Wave Cyclops Jubilee High Evo Knull Galactus Thanos Hulk Death
Was going to get Jeff, but I pulled the trigger on Spider-Ham. So 3000 more tokens for Jeff, I keep holding off on Jeff but I find I'm doing just fine without him. I want to unleash my evil side and take Spider-Ham for a spin before he is inevitably nerfed. And make no mistake, give it 2 months or less, he will be nerfed. He is a 1 cost that absolutely destroys the integrity of most 5 or 6 costs. At those costs, the ability tends to matter. Imagine if it hits a Doctor Doom for example, arguably the most balanced card in the game, it turns the card into a 6 cost 5 power brick. There are lower cost cards that outpower that. I almost think Second Dinner will make it similar to Ice Man where it won't target 6 cost cards.
I'm curious what the results will be of their test to let Spider-Ham see the affected card. If the effect were simply "1/1: See the highest-cost card in your opponent's hand", it would already be pretty decent. Pigging the card in addition brings it up to a high-tier disruption card. It's usually more impactful than Iceman, and even if it buffs a card it still removes the surprise factor. Playing it multiple times with sight gives you a read on their biggest plays, unless they're playing multiple big cards or topdeck something like with Killmonger and Odin in this video. Just from initial impressions, I think Spider-Ham should hit blindly and they should have Baron Mordo give info instead.
one thing that i notice when i get ham'ed, that the pig is actually 4 cost cart and can get its cost the reduced from zabu.. so zabu + sera + infinaut= 4cost 20 power pork..
Hey Cozy, in case you didn't know, the EV RE20 mic you're using has the mic diaphragm on the 'top' of the mic rather than the front of it like you're using. Probably the most common mistake I see as an audio engineer when ppl use this microphone. Hope this helps

With the spider-ham, bounce decks are even more varied because they don't only focus on power, but also control, Great

finally pulled the trigger on darkhawk that was sitting in my token shop to try out this Alt F4 deck and yep it works so many ppl rage quitting

The Pig's base stats are 4/0, but that gets modified to be the original cost and power of the card you hit.
