- I start a new build with a 1977 Malibu Classic that has been severely rusted out in the past. It pretty much needs a complete body swap, so let's get started!

I would paint it either the original silver or even the gold that the parts car is a tribute to the sacrifice it has made to restore arts car. This looks an interesting build and a big job too.

I have six of those Chevy Malibu classics fully restored best driving vehicle on the planet
After your done hacking it up take the frame and throw it under a Post War body and build a Budget Hot Rod. People out here in the SouthWest Triangle have been doing that for the last couple of years. They are almost an exact match wheelbase and width wise, 70's cars sat lower then the 40's and 50's cars did from the factory so you don't even have to lower them from stock ride height.

Remember a friend of my pops bought one of these brand new in '77 same gold color, his had the swivel seats, all power options, etc. This will be a cool series to watch, look forward to it Lee. Lot of work for sure. Looks like you're off to a good start.
Go with the silver for the build car. It'll look sharp with the red interior.

Really enjoy your video's. Maybe you should find yourself a compact loader tractor for your mowing and heavy lifting/projects around the property. I bought an older 25hp a few years ago. It's been a game changer!!

Colossal amount of work ! Wil this thing be worth all that effort? Your talents can be show cased. Would be great to see a 4.3l or a L.S. swap on a 50's sleeper.
Try brovecto for the fleas!! How about a luguna tribute?? I like these with a touch of à nascar look,exhaust out the side infront of the tire.
That burnt orange would look awesome with some white valley stripes.
Silver with the red interior is allways a good look. Good luck with this project.

That evaporator core on the cut up car will fit the Nomad with some adjustments. From there everything screws in and your AC is up if the codenser connections are not bad from the previous weld job.

Fixing any old cars is getting expensive these days. Shipping . tax. Inflated prices. Even junk yard prices getting high. More power to you for taking on this project. I guess it’s got a 350 .

Been looking forward to this lee👍 some work there but you will have it looking great, if you have a spare gril and surround and your willing to ship to the UK let me know im just getting mine finished up lol grill and surrounds in need of refreshing, my roof was also a problem from the half canvas roof. Bottom of the rear screen sweep also bad and lower driver rear quarter, great watch as always all the best👍

That thing that you said looks like glass is a crystal . geo they call them I think looks like a rock you brake them open there full of water and the crystal is in side that one is cut ovisly. But I'm voting Black make that car look mean ready to race

I know you're busy and probably won't see this, but it's all good. I love the car I know. It's not everybody's muscle car, but they're starting to catch on. I like mine cause I was born in 76 as well.

Seems like your hacking up wrong car. I would much rather do a trunk and floors then a roof, all the window channels, and Fire wall. You would have a nicer finished product in the end with the gold car. With a car as heavily rusted as the black one you will never stop the rust. No matter how much metal you replace. Unless you dip the whole car.

I needed a parts car and the gold one fit the bill. Floors were also rotted out and it's a plain jane undesirable model.
The black 1 is a 1 owner Landau way more desirable come on get with the program. 😉✌
He's had for sale a pretty good while, no takers. So cut it up and put it to use, make one good one out of two bad ones.
I'm glad to see you're fixing up the malibu. I have a 76. I'm working on it, and I really need that back. Trim that was underneath your back window when I saw you pull that glass out and that trim was still sitting in their. mine is all rusty. I need that too so bad. Lol
