Finally, someone who focuses on M+K for this game!! Thank you sir!
1. "Mouse Filtering" should be 2. The Dev's stated they put a delay on mice, so it should be 2.
2. "Relative" 1.78 is the same distance Vertical and Horizontal. It is always consistant.
Do I have to edit all these settings if I turn filtering to 2?
So refreshing to see a creator make a detailed non BS video for MnK.
What? yawspeed and pitchspeed control your KEYBOARD turning speed in degrees per second, or 1000 milliseconds, it has nothing to do with mouse input. I don't play this game but in nearly all the earlier COD games you had a bind to "Turn Left/Right" or "Look Up/Down", so the moment you press usually the arrow keys, although it doesn't have to be that, your view would accelerate to whatever constant speed in degrees per second that you set. The only time I've seen this Turn Left/Right bind in use is for trickshotting in mw2.
There's also cl_anglespeedkey, this is another multiplier for the keyboard turning speed, but this kicks in instantly when you begin to aim down sight. For example, yawspeed is set to 140, you zoom in, cl_anglespeedkey is set to 2, now whilst zoomed in your yawspeed is twice your unzoomed speed, 280 degrees per second. cl_anglespeedkey 0.5 makes your yawspeed twice as slow, you get the picture.
Warzone 3 uses 0.0066 yaw, just like Overwatch. So using for example your sensitivity 4.69 x 0.0066 gives out the minimum view angle change of 0.030954. If you use for example 800 dpi (dots per inch), in exactly 1 inch of moving your mouse on the mousepad you will turn 24.7632 degrees in game. (0.030954 x 800), or if you just barely move the mouse so the sensor registers movement it will move your view by 0.030954 degrees.
0.022 is not a magical number, it's just a sensitivity multiplier in degrees that was used since Quake (1996).
Yapping
I agree with this because I tried 0.000000 and 280.00000 on controller and mouse and no difference lol

Awesome awesome breakdown and really appreciate you watching my video and sharing it! Hopefully the devs fix the other issues affecting mouse it’s been far too long 😢
Yeah I really hope so, and hopefully your video ges the praise it deserves! I actually knew about the mouse Yaw stuff for different games, but didnt realise the devs didnt auto set it here.....
@@FourEyesGames appreciate you my man! That’s so cool good on you! Hahah I know it’s super unfortunate who knows what else they left out or corrupted…
thank you, I can finally use the mouse like it's meant to. hell, even some Roblox game had better aim ...
what do u think about the degrees value , for example my sens is 2.35 should i round to 52.00000 degrees as said on the original vid by @Khromezee or put the exact number 51.70000
Changing this setting does not impact mouse aim at all. It is for using the look keybind to use your keyboard to aim and the speed at which the camera rotates. Mouse is a distance based input, not speed based. Changing the value does not impact the yaw value that CoD uses its easily testable.
The corrrect formula here is 0.022 x your sens x 1000. example 0.022 x 4.5= 0.099 x 1000 = 99. Your input would be 99.000000. Now if you have say 1.4 sens then you do the math .022 x 1.4 = 0.0308 x 1000 = 30.8 so your input would be 30.800000.
Captain Obvious?
Just do 22* your sens
@@Khinoci what happend to the DPI of your mouse? that has big impact. its hughe difference between 400dpi or 2000dpi!
@@chotafallen8390 DPI doesnt affect this formula man

Why would you multiply by 0.022 and then 1000 instead of just multiply by 22 from the start?
It's the same thing but if I had to guess, it was because when the equation was derived, it was done in such a way that the units were maintained and converting to 22 would have required some additional units that were unnecessary when they were deriving the equation.
no point in changing it, it's just placebo. funny how nobody is actually testing this :D

i actually like gradual ads transition since that way i get the same monitor distance while ads, just ignore the zooming in animation
This is a night and day difference for me. Feels 100% smoother. Thanks to you and whoever found this. I actually enjoy playing right now.
This feels great so far! Only challenge is the fact that I have started to get used to the shitty feeling of the MW3 MNK so now to relearn how it should feel aha!
after doing processs in this video. i cant adapt to the ''normal'' mnk feeling. im already used to the trash mw3 mnk feeling.
me too, now I'm missing more :(
Placebo in action lol 😂😂😂
do you have to set the config file to read only in properties or is that not required?
I believe that the Yaw and Pitch settings do absolutely nothing for mouse input. It even says for gamepad. In Apex, the pitch and yaw settings are under advanced look controls and affect controller only. Until someone provides a repeatable demonstration that it affects mouse accel, I believe changing this will do nothing for Mouse, and is just placebo.
Took me 3 years to muscle memory the current settings, I ain't waiting extra 3 years to get used to this now 😂😂
I'm the same, but it helped me a lot!
18:01 everyone should be playing on 1600 plus for lower input latency.

Is no working for me, when I open the game it change the value itself and is really messing up my aim.
omg thank you so much! before this video my highest kill rebirth game was 14, but after this video i was only two kills away from my first 20 bomb
Just a heads up everyone to recheck this after each significant game update, my shots just didn’t feel right after season two and I checked this again and it had been reset!
same!!! i changed it back to default
This kind of unique content deserves all kinds of praise
Note that higher dpi results in less input lag. It doesnt really have a big effect above 1600, so just defaulting to that is ok.
1600 is the best
when you enable custom sens per zoom, it disables that .85 ads sens multiplier you set, right?
Wow! Changing the yaw speed was game changing for me. I had been playing this this set to "false" which helped but this is WAY better! Thanks for putting this out there!
for those wondering, if you're using a sensitivity of 6.36 you don't need to do anything.
Is this confirmed? Xbox mnk can stay at 6.36 and adjust dpi to get desired sensitivity?
I'm really disappointed that you don't get it...

By any chance you have seen all ashika map texture glitches? Objects like mountain on top of mountain appearing in random places on the map. If yes there is lots of ppl looking for advice how to fix it, and knowing your knowledge about graphics in this game can you have a look into it? Thank you
Happens every now and then. No way to fix it within a match when it happens. It should be fine next time you load into ashika
It has been happening to me since the MW3 integration. It almost always happens around the area between Town Center, Hotel, and Farms.
Why u dont just multiply your sens by 22? (0.022x1000)
In theory yes that's what you end up doing. But the Yaw coefficient in this game is 0.022 and the cfg just needs you to convert it. Just wanted to explain
if i play with the controller and have a sens 6...should i do the same calculation and which one should i change? or is just only for mk
In the windows mouse settings (additional options) when you go into the "pointer options" tab, do you have "enhance pointer precision" ticked or not? I heard its basically nouse accelaration but im not too sure as this is the only setting people dont really mention so thanks in advance!
Never turn that shit on
Always off.
Any ideas on how to fix the W key issue where you continue running forward even after releasing the W key? It's not a stuck keyboard issue because it doesn't happen in Valorant or Apex--it only happens to me in MW3/Warzone. It makes mantling the edge of buildings impossible sometimes because my character moves forward and just jumps off the building.
Just a placebo effect. Doesnt change anything
Ok..... I was today years old when I learned that config files don't do anything 😂
Funny how all sorts of people say it's better yet here you are posting how it's a placebo. You just learn that word or something?
Can you change yaw speed if your setting is on relative ? Or shouldn't I touch it ? I like my slow sensitivity when aiming in 😊?
You can I use relative sens.
@@carlfinch8220 Thank you ! Does your aim feel smoother ?
@@nookawfps2143 yes it does feels responsive. Like I don’t need to think where I’m aiming.
@carlfinch8220 I do really appreciate the feedback bud have your self a good day 👌👊🏻
why does he say in the video must be on legacy.. these settings are confusing a f.@@carlfinch8220
Because it says "gamepad yaw speed", does this effect controller as well? I play both so I'm curious if this will change things on that end
Content creators are being VERY unclear about this (probably because they don't know the technical details, neither do I) but yeah it would SEEM like it should only effect gamepads or using the KEYBOARD as a joystick. However, many people are saying that its helping. Could be placebo. Would love to seem some actual replicable testing.
@@MultiGotch for sure, but I have been looking all over for someone to actually demonstrate this (should be easy to do). I cannot replicate, therefore I think it’s placebo. Happy to be proven wrong though
Followed the steps exact. My mouse feels much faster. Is that the same result everyone felt?
Thats legacy for you bro
Dont forget to mention you have to switch to arrow key aim first. It literally says gamepad and keyboard pitch/yaw speed.
What do you recommend for mouse DPI?
Honestly from all the vids ive seen this one makes sense and it works for me. Mouse movement really got great after following ur instruction. Now i can kill on cod before this aiming really sucks 😅
Higher DPI lowers latency, 1600 is a sweet spot
It was tested in Warzone 1 I believe; the best was 3200. 1600 most will say is the best as it once was before someone tested it.
Im at 3200 1.80 in game, .96 multiplier
@@texasrattler1325
I play on 400 and no issue
Higher dpi DOESN'T have lower latency, it just takes marginally less movement to trigger your first input on higher dpi because you have more resolution (dots) to pick up smaller movements. We're talking hundredths of a mm difference between higher dpi triggering it's first input vs low dpi. .I doubt any human is performing flicks 1/3 the width of a hair follicle to take advantage of that difference.

evidence that they are screwing kbm to make it easier for controller :D
140.000000 vs 114.000000 literally no difference whatsoever
u arent supposed u use 114.00000 u dumb ass u gotta find it urself depending on what ur sens is ingame bruh
This "yaw" thing is a problem in COD games since MW2 2009... Back then, you also had to edit this valsu, and change pooling rate of your mice to 125Hz 🙃
I usually ignore videos like this and get better fps by doing this videos, but this one actually helped. I just got a VMSE and thought it was messed up. Thanks
Great video. I enjoyed the performance improvement after!!
Great video. What a shame that my Option.4.cod23 file keeps resetting the values to 280.000000 every time I open the game. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
Edit the file, save it, and close it. Right click on the file properties and check read only
if it keeps resting after read only is checked then delete the file completely and open game to get it back then edit and save again
Real doubt: my sens is 8.79 with 1600 dpi (193.98 yaw)... If i change my mouse DPI to 800 obviously the yaw goes to 386.76 and the file set max yaw at 240. What happen?
The ADS sensitivity Multiplier (Focus) should be set to 1.00. It says when in the setting that it applies to your base ADS sensitivity Multiplier so setting it to 0,85 means your sensitivity goes down another 15% while "focusing"
He gave a rational explanation as to why, but you seem to have ignored it. The FOV change from hip to ADS makes it feel off. Reducing the ADS multiplier fixes the issue and makes the transitions have a 1:1 feel.
you have no clue what youre talking about and neither does the video creator, ffs its explained in the settings, he said so much wrong shit its amazing@@tsdbhg
the best would to manually setup every single zoom level but giving the global one a value of 0.85 is the next best thing
@@tsdbhg i forgot a key word in the comment, its updated now, i was talking about the ADS sensitivity multiplier (focus)
I have a steel series mouse and instead of DPI they use CPI (Counts per Inch), is it essentially the same thing? When i set it to 800 it feels WAY slow.
Awesome breakdown and that final trick has lived with me since 2019 in Markov. TYVM good sir.
Legend. Thank you for this video! MnK is tough enough - it seems like the developers have made it even harder to compete!
competing for free😂😂
u are completly wrong with the focus setting. it matches the ads multiplier speed so its again slower.
My aim with arrow keys feels so good now after changing YawSpeed and PitchSpeed. Those pesky aimbotting 10 year old controller users don't stand a chance!
if you are having trouble finding your best mouse sensitivity you can copy a streamers sensitivity but only do it with a streamer that has a similar play style to you
I use a 750 dpi for aiming. I find i can be way more percise with shots. Also I tried relative aiming and it does feel very inaccurate. when it comes to relative the quick flick on mouse does not feel as good as lgacy i miss a lot of shots when using relative at 1.78
Alright, I am about to try this! Update later! You have no comments about Monitor Distance Coefficient? I see that yours is at 0? And it's greyed out when you run Legacy. So with Legacy type, MDC doesn't matter?
well i'll try this mouse fix, i'm on 6 sensitivity mouse so my yaw parameters are 132.000000, full plunder today to test this, thanks brother
Can anyone explain what the point of this is, if you're just setting your mouse sens to whatever value (as suggested at the start of the video)?
That number may scale it up or down, like the equivalent of setting your sensitivity to 10% higher or whatever, but that means nothing unless you're trying to sensitivity-match with another game right?
Does DPI factor in? Or does that not matter in this instance
DPI won't affect this at all 👍
Dpi is the major role for latency, bigger ur dpi less the ingame sensitivity then less the latency, my dpi is 11000 and 0.5 sensitivity
Yeah i have mine liek this so my change in the notepad file went from 140 to 16.5 lol - have not tested yet but big number diff@@emersonmatheus8611
Nothing will ever make this game feel good on mouse. It’s been purposely designed to put us at a disadvantage. Any decent mouse player should know this

If you have ADS sensitivity type in Legacy, leave ADS sensitivity multiplayer at 1. If you change it to .85 as the video recommends you won't have a 1:1
Season 2 patches have broken this fix lol if your aim feels off again, as mine did after season 2 dropped, then go in config and set raw mouse input to "false" and enjoy better, more accurate mouse input once more....until they break it again
0.022 just like my spark plugs lmao
do this work on mw3 mp aswell?
How come this setting didn't affect MW2? I hopped on MW2 and aiming felt soo great compared to MW3/WZ3... Will try this fix though
Great video man! Kept hearing about this but wanted to wait til you posted
thanks for the tips it helps a lot, can you help me with the report rate 500 vs 1000 which is best?
1000 is good enaugh but higher is better if you have 4k dongle use it
This is helpful for some, the original creator who came out with this did It differently. It’s usually your sens * 0.22 and you round up or down based on the value.
my problem is when I aim, the movement from the right stick switch to the left stick.
2:20 : I think you got it reversed. I've tried doing a 360 for example with 1x ADS multiplier and it's SLOWER (meaning it takes a greater travel distance for the mouse) than the unADS-ed sensitivity. I found 1.2x to be even for ADS and unADS, in terms of travel distance of the mouse. Therefore, putting it on 0.85x you significantly slow down your ADS sense compared to unADS.
8:30 : About what value to use to calculate the yaw and pitch value, another youtuber (attursson) said that you need to put your in-game sense with 800 dpi. So, if you're using 400 dpi, then you need to put half your in-game sense, because transitioning from 400 to 800 dpi, I would need to halve my in-game sense to match the original. Now, I don't know how true or accurate that statement is, but I'm saying it here in case someone has more insight on this matter.
I think you got atturson wrong. He did say the dpi does not matter.
@@proflankyHe said and I quote "which is my sense if I were to have 800 dpi. But don't worry, your sense doesn't matter." What does that mean though? Did he already transition his sense from whatever sense he's using to 800 or did he not?
If you look at the formula he also used he did not include the dpi only sensitivity and he did mention he missed a 0. This video only clarifies that one not conflicts it.
If you want your ads and nonads sens to be the same you need to shange setting from reletive to legacy reletive makes your sens feel the same acording to fov while ads on legacy it ignors that while you ads fov changes ad keeps the original sens so when using scope it might give you hard time
@@recifultv3642 Your ADS and nonADS sense can be the same in both legacy and relative, just with different values on each.

Yet again, another "fix" that doesnt work lol. game is scuffed
The result I have is 47.08
Why does my game automatically changes tu value by adding a 2 at the end (it switches my "47.080000" into "47.080002")
Idk why and I think it makes the setting doesnt work for me...
after last one i just can not use windows anymore, cant aim no buttons
When using Legacy Ads sensitivity type doesn't this remove the so called "uniform soldier aiming" which retains the sens based on the zoom level?
How does dpi affect this? I’m giving this a try however I use a high dpi of 2400 with an in game sense of 2.
Dpi doesnt effect the formula
Mmm well I tried it and and would get a value of 44 and it felt horrible
Why wouldnt you want to use inverted on a mouse? Its 100% a matter of what you are used to play with.
Ads sensitivity multiplier is greyed for me. Cant change it. How to fix that?
I wanted to love the ADS multiplier setting on .85, but I think I've been a KB&M player for so long,? Maybe I'm used to a 1:1 ratio? Rest of your settings, I either already had them, but set a few over to your suggestions and it is great otherwise. Thank you very much FourEyes.
Legacy seems to be the go. Before, I was running 1:1 legacy. Lately, I've had the coefficient set to 1.78, as opposed to 1.33, (for 1440p), and it works very well for me?!?!?!
I did try the ADS multiplier to .90 and I think it feels better for me in a MP match, than .85, even tried a multiplier of.95,... .90 felt really good for me, I might run with this or go back to 1:1 with the coefficient setting of 1.78. The multiplier of.85 felt great in a match with bots, but in a MP game? I couldn't hit the side of a barn with the multiplier of .85 when aiming down the scope/optic. I usually prefer to use the MK.3 reflector 1:1 on a AR usually... (Maybe I'm used to "broken", LOL)... I'm OK, but no where near the caliber most of you are, on this platform.
May be a daft question but does you dpi settings effect how this will feel? Nice work by the way man.
no just your in game sense

Love the video :D but I have a question for you :) what setting do I have to change to not have the plane sens cranked up to max? Plane and (or) cars. What's up with that? I think it's a bug tbh...
When I start the warzone match...when I'm inside the plane and try to "look around" it's like I'm having 10000000000000 sens.
But if you know a fix please share.
I too have this massive sensitivity problem in the plane and have since warzone 2. I didn't have a problem in the cars sensitivity before WZ3 tho, but I do now!
got the same problem, may have to do with FOV
The only fix for now that I found (i'm not using it but I want to post it here) is to lower your DPI (from the mouse software) and increase the mouse sens in game).
Bro when i change it to 0.85, it automatically changes back to 1.00 after one game. How can i solve this??
just gotta say this yaw thing is completely misunderstood. Yaw does nothing to impact your mouse aiming. this is all placebo.

are you able to change that setting if you are running mouse and key on xbox?
No. Because there's no way to get into the game config files on a console.

Raw input to false
Gpurenderheaps to false
Why not just set sensitivity to 6.36 and adjust dpi later?
