Nice to see a new review on an older fragrance. Def a good pick to do this vid. This one needed a fresh opinion in the present market.
When I first got this fragrance, I wasn't super impressed, but it grew on me. I typically get decent longevity, too. For $20, it's a good buy for those who are building a scent arsenal. One thing I will say is that as my collection has grown, it doesn't get as much love as others.
This is my exact experience. I also wasn't super impressed, it was a little too synthetic for me. But as time passed it grew on me and I respect it for what it is. Not a great fragrance, but good.
@@jsemmerling52 Exactly. The opening would put me off, but after a little bit of wear, the dry down is what pulled me in. Still worth the wear on occasion.
It doesnt last long on me, for like 2 hours, does it have to do with the heat ,im wearing it under sun like 34°C?

Incredible fragrance for the price. For me it's a powdery raspberry with a creamy note. This is def one of those feminine like scents that is geared towards men. Beauty

Another good review! I was late the party with this fragrance and blind bought it from a local department store a couple of months ago. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s pleasant…different and ideal for the warmer months. I don’t wear it often, though. I prefer MB Legend Spirit.

I had a bottle a few years back. I wore it a few times and sold it on ebay. It's not a bad scent IMO but it's just not for me. Your review is spot on!!

One of the few frangrances I've tried so far that I genuinely loved from the very first spray. People say it smells like fabric softener - that's a smell I despise. Growing up we always had scentless laundry products, so if I had someone over who used bounty, you could smell them for a solid 8 hrs after they left. This is fresh and sweet and clean, I get why people call it something like fabric softener, but to me it's much more subtle and creamy and far less synthetic than bounty, lol. This is a 'wear it for me' favourite personally. I've stocked up as its apparently discontinued. Can't get enough of it!
After seeing this hyped up for ever I finally found a bottle today at Burlington for $20. Grabbed it and just sprayed it on. Initially it’s ok, the dry down is awesome though. Creamy and woody just like you said. For $20 it’s a solid buy in my book.

I just found a bottle of it at Marshalls yesterday, it was the first time I've seen one on the shelf so I figured I'd do a blind buy and man I don't regret that decision, this stuff smells amazing and it lasts all day long !
Found it several years ago at Marshall’s for $20 but never really connected with it. Haven’t reached for it in over a year but gave it another chance after your review. Not a bad smell but you are 100% right. I now have over 100 fragrances and this just doesn’t rate among them. Thanks for keeping it real my man.

Just picked this up and enjoy it very much
When I first bought individuel, I sprayed it and thought joop homme. But once you get to the mid and dry down, you get a nice fabric softener scent without the masculine sharpness joop has. Still a solid cheapie but I get why people have moved on from it now.
U got me ready to revisit my bottle. I still have a nice amount left. Still on 1st bottle. Never thought about the comparison to joop.

Love 😍 this fragrance.. Ive 3 bottles in the fridge ❄ 🥶.. I love the clean Raspberry hit.. Reminds me of Christmas 🤶 in the 1980s... Sadly its being discontinued now 😢.. Great review 😊👍
Got this when it was 20 bucks im shocked its doubled in price and ur review is spot on, raspberry soapy, its the epitome of soapy clean its been referred to as a raspberry dryer sheet before too which kinda but in a good way obv
Glad I have a bottle, if what you're saying about the price increase I'd pass and go with Caesars Agustus EDT as an alternative (not a clone) cuz it's a cross between MB Individuel and Coach for Men kinda harsh but decent for around $13-$15.

Bought this a Burlington Coat Factory few months ago. Does slightly remind me of Joop Homme in the opening but not as loud. Haven't worn it in a little while but I do really dig it.
I still own around 10ml/75 from a 2018 batch. I wore it last night, just 2 little squirts because I stayed at home. It was pretty present, almost more powerful that I remembered. I used it heavy in the past, I liked it because it was pretty unique with a decent or more than decent quality and performance. I guess I won't buy it again in future but I'll keep those few ml that I have left.
A couple months ago I got a 75 ml of this and the female version, for my wife, for about $23 a piece. I think they're both great and I think they're totally worth about double the price I paid.
The other day UnAverage Joe put his summer list out on a live and MB Individual was the first he mentioned for summer nights . I remember I got it because the Bow Tie Fragrance would mention it and creed Santal together . I never smelled ( still haven’t ) but as soon as I got it my mind went to my Kids ( now in their 40s ) wearing Joop Homme . I didn’t think I would like it because of that , but it did grow on me and Mrs Fritz really likes it . After sleeping on it I agree with Joe this could be a great summer night fragrance ( especially on vacation or down at the shore ) that I had over in my cool weather section .
I just bought this at Marshalls yesterday and I have a decent collection. I truly enjoyed it last night. Fruity dryer sheets in a great way. Reveur Obsidian is its classier , citrusy smooth dryer sheets brother with better performance. Both great in their own way.
I only wear this in the fall with a big sweater. It smells exactly like fabric softener to me which matches big sweaters perfectly lol. Also, all Montblanc fragrances have gone up in price and some have gone up a lot.
Kinda chill today plus it's raining. I would never wear this in high heat but with a change in the weather I'm wearing it today. Kevin Samuels reviewed this Montblanc in his beginning.
*ROSS* Kevin also reviewed a Blanc I've never heard of called Exceptionnal. He said its the best in the house. You heard of it?
got mine last year after winning a giveaway at studioscents right here on TH-cam...had to get me a extra bottle from Burlington before the prices skyrocket...pretty solid scent for what it is.
That's a fair assessment. It's a good smell, just slightly synthetic. It dies down rather quickly on me, so I would spray this a little heavier out the shower if I'm going out.
It's definitely worth a purchase from a discount store in the $20 range.
I received mine from FragranceX 2021 batch ( now discontinued ) it literally only lasts 30min on me.
Either you get noseblind quickly from it or it just fades away.
Vaseline doesn't work.

I remember this being one of the most hyped frags when I started watching fragrance reviews. Still haven't tried it.
So i bought into the hype a la jeremy fragrance. I was so excited to wear it to work that next morning so I sprayed my 4 on and didn't exactly think it was worth it but I did get a compliment almost instantly when I started my shift. Unfortunately as the work day went on it went from just okay to worse as the raspberry dryer sheet was tarnished and it got kind of skanky..the bottle saw the trash can a few minutes later after getting home..

It's discontinued so if you want it and find it, buy it. Picked it up today 9/4/22 at TJ Maxx for $20.00. I like it. It's an easy office wear cologne.
I’ve had it for a few years and wear it rarely. It’s not that it’s a bad fragrance, there is just something about it that suggests a room freshener or candle or something other than a man’s scent. I can only wear it in cooler, colder weather and in the evening.

I definitely agree with your bang on review my friend, however, gotta disagree with it being worth what discounters are asking for it now. Yes, I do enjoy it and I think it's worth the $25-$30 it went for, but now at $35-$40, this would be a pass for me now. Especially since my bottle is a 75ml. But that's just me bro. Btw, I love your Megatron photo you have on your shelf in the background! I'm a Michigan born guy, so the Detroit Lions are in my blood unfortunately. But, Calvin Johnson was definitely a high point in their past. What is that photo all about anyway??

This one was one of those were i was hyped to get my hands on but when i got it i was really disappointed the smell is not for me. I get old soapy raspberry detergent smell.

Great cheapie. Classic and masculine without feeling too mature or juvenile. It’s still sub $20 on fragrancenet. I’d rebuy it if it was still cheap. But I will never wear all of my frags in my lifetime.

This one is probably the strangest fragrance in my collection. I went through a stretch where I was wondering why the hell do I still have this? I was recently ready to write it off and just junk the bottle, then I just said, "What the hell..why not?" and began wearing it again...and it garnered compliments. What makes this one so weird to me, is that I can't ever place an occasion as to when I would want to wear it asa "go-to". I don't want to wear it to work, nor do I think of it much for a night out with a lady friend, or going out to a restaurant. It's opening is thick on my skin, the dry down I like, and I guess it's best quality is that it smells distinctive compared to a lot of stuff that is out there. It really is the "What the hell..why not?" of my collection now...I don't feel compelled to buy another bottle when this one is done, either.
I honestly feel the same way. I have a small collection of about 40 bottles and this is ranked pretty low in my own personal opinion. I don't want to just throw it away, but I barely wear it. It's a nice wear around the house or grocery store fragrance I feel like.
This is a great cheap fragrance…smells really similar to parfums de marly darley…tested them both one on each wrist and the mont blanc performed better but it was of course more synthetic but fro the price difference im cool with individuel 👌🏽
I don't get raspberry. I get dryer sheets. It's fresh and clean and most people just think it's just my clothes being straight from the dryer.

To me it smells like light version of Joop homme, less sweet and without that siroup vibe, longevity 7h, with medium sillage, love it..
I scored a 50ml bottle of this for $20 along with a back up bottle of missoni wave yesterday. I’ll give it a try today. Did some research and it came out 2 years before original santal by the same perfumer
I actually enjoy the scent but it always seems to trigger a headache for me. Maybe just too synthetic or something. Still like it.
Had it and sold it, to me it' was/is (I still have a tiny decant) linear, a wall of sweetness, raspberry, sugar and washing powder/fabric softener. I still think it smells like a decent fragrance, just not for me. Nice bottle, especially the 75ml.

This stuff does so well off of my skin for some reason. And it's one of those fragrances I'll always keep around. Because it just sorta puts me in a positive light hearted mood when I wear it. I'll be out doors all day. And I think I'm gonna go heavy on Sean John I Am King today. Happy Wednesday brotha!!
Got it for 16.99 at Burlington about a week ago asking with joop homme with clear juice which surprised me
I have this and for some reason I don't touch it. It sticks around in the same note for too long and becomes a headache. Smells like fresh laundry and I like it but it won't fade, which is strange.
Love this stuff BUT....Id recommend using it randomly. Your nose can get fatigued quite easily
There was my first rack store fragrance that I bought in TJ max for $19.99, sprayed a few times and just sat there. Ending up getting rid of it.
My man Ross!!! Great review as well. This gives off a "pleasant" scent--nothing too harsh, & nothing that really causes it to stand out--but all and all a decent fragrance. I would say this is a 3-4 hour fragrance...you know when you are just going to a kick back or just meeting up with friends for a casual drink, or to watch the game. Somewhat puts you in the mind of Original Santal by Creed--just not as refined. A great decision for a dumb reach and could def get you a compliment if the right person gets a good whiff! As always Ross appreciate the review my guy and cant wait until the next one!!
Something strange is happening with my Mont blanc collection. I don't even think about them even as a cheapie reach like I did a year and half ago when I really started collecting hard. Maybe 150 bottle later of Kajals, Nishanes, TFs, Dior, etc and these all just come off too synthetic even for a cheapie. I'm wearing Legend Intense (stainless bottle) to the gym and I wish I hadn't. My nose has matured seriously.

I don't really like the first 30 minutes.The raspberry is a little strong and feminine. But for the next 8 hours, I get a really fresh skin scent with a creamy sandalwood. It's a wonderful fragrance.
Just my opinion but i would give this a 6/10 , Projection was good for the first 30 min. last about 4-5 hours shoulder length . Super average for me as far scent and longevity

Saw this at a Ross so I grabbed it. I have Legend and Starwalker in my collection and said why not. It's a decent scent especially for the $. Def not my favorite. Starwalker is incredible imo and it lasts 4 - 5 hours. I get the sweet raspberry with the fabric softener vibes. Only lasts about 2 hours on me. Safe for work and running errands.
I can still smell it on me after working 8 hours. 5 sprays at 645am and i get home a little after 330pm and can still smell it lol
Maybe I have a newer batch? So many rave about it but mine seems like a dud 😞

I have it, but really never reach for it. I have about 250 fragrances and Individuel never stood out to me, in any way. I spray it on our pillows sometimes.
I actually thought about wearing this today! it is super rainy and cloudy today, but I ended up going with ADG Profumo today because I needed something with better longevity and with a brighter scent.
Would've been a hell of coincidence if I ended up wearing it today!
I wear Individuel at least twice a week and for me it's a complement puller. It's not over powering yet it still gets noticed. Yesterday I saw 4 bottles at Ross, unfortunately the store no longer has them, but I do.😂😂😂😂

I’ve never been in love with MB Individuel. Although I respect it & acknowledge the love it gets, it’s just not one I reach for. I’ve had my same bottle since 2015, & it’s still like 85% full! It’s good to me- not great IMO….. 🤷🏾♂️
I have a a bottle for like 3 years still at like 75 % full... in comparison I have used 5 bottle of cdmi... in the same time

ive gotta say, i agree with almost everything u said, but a 6.5/10?! now that's harsh. at the very minimum it's a 7 for me, probably 7.5 to 8
I never smell this one and starwalker. For Mont blanc I have just legend edt and edp, legend spirit and explorer.
