Hey @codedamn can you make a video on how people who upload on torrent, upload a movie on a similar day of ott launch , how do they get the Netflix / prime version
Its really sad to see how people enjoyed to criticize the video rather than appreciate how well you simplified topics like widevine, fairplay, and even TEE in an understandable way. I was quite lost while learning about DRM in general, but Part 1 really helped me understand it better. Thank you so much for that 🙃
amazing sir,,, you are one of the person who inspire me to be a dev -> I switched from Wordpress to React like technologies because of your content. I want to be as good as you someday.. Thanks for inspiring content. Thanks
you can't prevent piracy but you can make it that hard that doing that hardwork looks waste, but there are people who who will do that hardwork anyways
I really appreciate the concepts, the knowledge, the technologies you are mentioning & sharing through your own experience & your product. Ignore the bad comments & keep coming up with these types of videos.
I think people donot understand the concept what they do is it can be done like that way or this way everything possible in this world if you try do, like I did not know about DRM now I know about it and I am glad that I get the info about DRM.
Love your videos! If you take suggestions for video ideas, I have one: Workflow orchestration systems like Temporal, "serverless" queues like Inngest, how they both work under the hood, how they are different, the benefits, etc.
dont waste your time on people that waste their time in the internet trying to sound clever. I saw the first video and I right away understood the message you tried to convey. Any comments trying to deviate from that point are just spam. Cheers🎉

When we download a video on netflix and try to watch it offline, how is our device able to communicate with the google/apple server for verification (or key) ?
And then these "cheap" guys keep crying and blaming govt/colleges for not getting jobs. Anyways, great video as always. Keep sharing knowledgeable content 😊
Yeah I still blame my college for training me to become a corporate slave and destroy my passion for programming. Because of the bs higher ups or their unrealistic 🤡 deadlines
You received negative comments previously because the video was mostly watched by non-technical people, I believe. I bet few developers or engineers made any negative comments. Your previous video was awesome-keep it up!
I dont like widevine its used by the many streaming platoform , but widevin selling its api keys , that single api key which able to decrypt the any streaming platform files bro. like netflix , udmey , other platforms
I did few research on it i will able to extract L3 keys and was able to decrepit 1080 p videos. Still the L1 keys is difficult as it is stored in TEE .
It is honestly hilarious to see that people think they are smarter than Netflix lol. These are people who only download pirated content and doesn't even know what piracy is. Bet most of them doesn't even know what seeding is. Screen recording Netflix is just a layman's understanding of movie piracy. Actual piracy is much more complicated than that. What is listed on those pirate websites are not mere screen recordings. They practically play with the insides of the computer and extract the stream from there, which requires skill levels that are beyond advanced. I am not advocating for piracy in anyway but people thinking they know better than Netflix is just rofl 😂😂

Great video mam people who really understand the concept wouldn't critics the Netflix and how good they have implemented the technology.
Excellent videos both. I always had trouble understanding DRM. Keep bringing more topics like such
The reason the video got viral is , everyone trying to break DRM😂 I wastes lot of time to break Spotify's DRM 😢 but I learnt lot of things 🎉
I really appreciate the concepts, the knowledge, the technologies you are mentioning & sharing through your own experience & your product.

The main theory behind DRM is, make hacker life little hard.
And that make sense.
Make normal guy with no high end tech feel pain during the copying, enough tht only dedicated miners persist to unravel the encryption.
Ye pata hai break karte karte Sikh chuke hai . I just liked the video because previous one was good and you are making change

You received negative comments previously because the video was mostly watched by non-technical people, I believe. I bet few developers or engineers made any negative comments. Your previous video was awesome-keep it up!
are "web-dl" files available on torrents the actual decrypted version of the original file or a screen record or something else?
