Hello, I've been selected for the second H1B lottery. However, my employer hasn't guaranteed me a job and has asked me to transfer my visa to another company that can offer me one. Is this situation acceptable, or should I reject the visa? I'm planning to travel to the USA in the first week of October. Please advise.
Selection in the lottery doesn’t mean you got H1B visa. Petition has to be submitted by the employer through whom you got selected. And you cannot transfer a lottery selection. Only once your petition is approved you can transfer with another employer.
Hey I got a job offer letter from a company yesterday and they mentioned they will apply for petition but asked me to check with immigration agency n company will support me too. The joining month is December or jan. I am not sure if this is possible. I need ur thoughts ok this please. It's a great job with good salary and it's a big company too
How many days does it take for an employer to receive notification about selection? Additionally, if we are not selected in the lottery, will we receive a notification about the non-selection?
As mentioned in the video employers have already got the notifications. And USCIS is not going to send selection or rejection notices to individual candidates.

Your employer has 90 days from selection to file your petition.
