Would love to own one. Use to shoot a Browning GTS. Was very good and we broke alot of clays. Then bought the 725. Struggled with it from day one. Weight and feel not for me. Bought a new Beretta 690 and the weight is superb. Handling out of this world. And it really has low recoil. Would love the DT11 with Stelium Pro. But at moment the 690 to me is a winner.
Another great and honest review Matthew and I love my DT11 with the custom stock I had made at the Beretta factory, very fortunate to have made the trip with you, fantastic experience. Just a thought why not ask the professional competition shooters to give us there opinion on the guns they use, but might be difficult for you to get out to meet them. 🤔 Suppose you could video link them..🤷🏻…
Thank you for your comment and kind words. I am pleased that your custom fit DT11 is going well. Your suggestions have been noted. Kind regards, Matthew
A great example of one of the best purpose built clay crushers ever! I love the combination of subtle elegants and rock hard performance. Beretta will be hard pressed to improve the DT11 especially at the price point. An example of the ASE might be nice for a review. Maybe some of the SO's. Have a Merry Christmas!.
Thank you for your comment. I agree that this will be a tough act to follow but exciting to see what Beretta come up with ( a version of the SL2 I suspect). Merry Christmas. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your comment and kind words. I will be in touch regarding that Ernst 3800. Happy Christmas and have a great new year. Kind regards, Matthew
An interesting video would be about stockmakers, besides the factorys bespoke options. Essevierre, Manuel Riccardo and the likes. Prices, process, options a.s.o. I think a lot of people are put off because they think it is difficult, too expensive or not quite aware just how big a difference a made to measure stock can make.
Great review Matt ! On one of the best gun ever ! Please can you Review K80 Super sport Browning pro sport DT 11 black carbon As I thinking about new toy 👍
Thank you for your comment. I am pleased that you enjoyed the video. The DT11 really is an outstanding bit of kit. Personally I am not a big fan of the DT11 Black with the carbon fibre rib as I find them a bit too light and 'whippy'. Will definitely be looking at the other two. Kind regards, Matthew
@@eastfieldgunroom Thanks you Matt So glad you back on TH-cam ! Used to really enjoy when you did the premier guns channel. They’re not as good without you on that channel
Another great review. Moving forward more reviews of rare and interesting guns and where possible their history. Also videos on chokes and choke combinations and a review of recoil pads would be good.
Matt I was lucky enough to shoot a DT11 the other Sunday morning you are spot on about it being smooth to shoot in fact if I could afford one I could be persuaded to change from my MK38. ( I will have a look on your web site just to dream 🥰🥰)
Thank you for your comment. The DT11 Black Skeet is very different to the sporting in terms of barrel weight, stock dimensions etc. The skeet version also has a non selective trigger. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Matthew

Would like to see a video on Kemen KM4. There doesn’t seem to be any detailed review, or maybe I just can’t find it. Merry Christmas and keep up the great content
Thank you for your comment and kind words. The Kemen is a gun that I am actively trying to source. It does however need to be a particular example. Stay tuned… Kind regards, Matthew
Great review Matt … I currently shoot a 694 and to own a DT 11 is my aspiration … just going to have to save up a bit longer I guess 😂. Maybe a video regarding steel shot and chokes ? I always thought nothing tighter than 1/2 choke should be used whilst using steel shot, but recently 1/4 choke has been mentioned, but I think that is referring to “ high performance “ steel cartridges? Thanks Gary
Thank you for your comment. I actually tend to source guns specifically for what I choose to review. Your suggestions have been noted. Kind regards, Matthew
I hope Beretta will make a Black Edition with steel top rib. As we have been over before, beavertail foreend should be default on at least all competition models (I prefer it on all my shotguns)
There is now a black edition with steel top rib and a few other additions. Very nice guns, waiting for a second hand one to come up as I didn't like the carbon rib on the standard black edition either.
Thank you for your comments. The DT11 Gold was a limited edition model and is no longer available. As with all DT11 models it was supplied with B Fast stock balancing weights. Only the DT11 Black Edition has a full balancing system. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your comment. I am pleased that you enjoyed the video. Cartridge reviews are not really planned for this time but I will note your suggestion. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your comment. Having shot a number of DT11's and 694's I would say that the main difference is recoil reduction with the Pro over the Plus. Patterns are very similar. Kind regards, Matthew
How about some videos on Fabarm/Syren offerings? I’ve had some newer shooters ask me for recommendations and they always bring these up. There is very little on TH-cam about them.
Thank you for your comment and kind words. Apart from Browning, Beretta and Miroku the best gun in that price range I believe is the Yildiz Pro adjustable. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your suggestion. These particular ranges of guns are very much a minefield and finding exceptional examples is no mean feat. I will endeavour to review these as and when I can. Kind regards, Matthew
Thank you for your comment. Although I am planning to review some side by sides this will be a very small segment of the channel. Stay tuned….Kind regards, Matthew
Hi Matt, another interesting review with lots of info. Your maths needs improvement though !! 500 shells a day equates to about 180,000 a year. Not a million a year, as you say in the video. You would need to shoot 2700 shells everyday to get to a million a year. I do not think anyone is physically able to shoot that number. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for your comment and kind words. Sorry if I did not explain myself correctly. I was simply saying that these guns are capable of shooting a million shells. I would suspect that certain athletes such as Mr Hancock actually shoot more than 500 a day. Kind regards, Matthew
I shoot a 694, was lucky in that a nice gentleman, another lefthander let me shoot his DT11 on 3 stands. The DT11 felt amazing, better than my 694 for balance and feel and the 694 is a really good gun, I love it. However I cannot see myself buying a Dt11. My 694 seems to have a better field of vision when mounted. It has sculpted cut aways from the stock into the action. Whereas the DT11 doesn't and has for me at least, has two "side by side" bulges as if it's a mini side by side. This isn't for me, enough to not buy one. Why is this. Is it a nod to their side by side heritage? I notice the Sl2 doesn't have this feature and is more like the 694 in that regard. Haven't seen a Sl2 in the flesh yet but suspect that would be more for me than a DT11. Price dependant when they're finally released as a non launch edition of course.
Thank you for your comment. As you say they are both excellent guns in their own right. It will be interesting to see what the SL2 (standard) is like. Kind regards, Matthew

Love to see you do a review on the beretta 694 dtl trap
Thank you for your comment. This is a gun that we have already reviewed. Kind regards, Matthew
What a beautiful gun. Love the satin finish. Wish I could afford one.
I do like my Beretta. Got a 687 SP III Trap combo from Joel Etchen CO and it's a great gun. Sold me on the Beretta Brand. Crushes the Clays
I believe this is the best competition shotgun in the world... a 32" adjustable sporter is the holy grail of shotguns.
Thank you for your comment. I would agree with your statement. Kind regards, Matthew
DT11, I love mine… which Matt sold to me. Thank you.
