What is the general consensus if you want a really small car (less than 3.7m), for driving strictly in the city for average trips of 10-15 km, as a second car. I dont think too many people buy it as a first car as such.
Thank you for this very informative video. I am from South Africa and I honestly want to buy this car but was told the Renault Kwid is a better buy but with that said, I am all about practicality.

Maruti spresso engine is superb but build quality is worst, 0 rating.
But within its price you will not get any other. So,for poor people it is good.
@@jipzzzbb7114 I know Maruti's engines are solid, but I would def go for the Kwid at this price range. Looks far better and has a nicer road presence as well. (if you're into that SUV inspired design) Also try opting for a manual as your driving experience will be better. AMT is just trash... no other way to say it.

Bhai safety in your own hands, I have seen people driving low budget cars with safety nd people doing accidents with higher level cars... It's all about your driving.. and that's why getting low sfety ratings, people still purchase Maruti cars because of their service centers and after sales with parts availability..

There is no compromise for safety ... You can't just say because it's small ... safety can be compromised .. see Smart for 2 car and its crash test ... It's a 2 seater even shorter than Alto
If Tata is able to provide a 4 star car maruthi should aim for 5 not 0 or they should remove the name maruthi synonyms with Hanuman because the Hanuman is strong but maruthi is weak

Just bcos Suzuki is Japanese and their engines are said to be reliable ( which they actually are, but not reliable enough to have such huge market share ), that doesn't put them in a position to compromise safety. We possibly can't give low priority to structural strength of a car since the very same thing decides at the end, the driveability of that car to an extend. A car with supposedly good engine but a weak chassis is equivalent to a car with bad driveability.
And Indians should really stop considering touch screen infotainment, stylish DRLs as features. Those are just accessories. Driver and passenger seat air bags, braking stability, good steering-suspension setup, now these are actual FEATURES that one must have in a car.
Are you serious? If cars like Tata Tiago can provide space WHILE also providing 4 star safety in a small car, why cant others? XZ Manual variant literally has more space and better safety for almost the same size as compared to competitors like Spresso.
It is pretty evident your are biased towards Maruti as seen throughout the vlog. You were literally CRAMMPED in the backseat and you called the kneeroom decent?
