- Not a budget friendly rig and definitely not for everybody, but its definitely for me lol.
Im no expert here so if I left something out or said something wrong try not to get worked up in the comment section. 😂 If I ever find the time I will get a day optic on it and do some plinking with it to show you guys how she operates and shoots. With the thermal it has been a treat to hunt with!
Badger Ordnance M134 in .308, again I'm not 100% sure on availability but these are offered in .308, .260 and the mod1 was offered in 300blk out. Manners CPR stock with a 16" Bartlein med palma barrel. The actions are also available in LA magnum, its a shame they did a limited run on these rifles, but the actions are definitely something to keep an eye on if they ever become available.

The last two coyotes and the last two pigs had ZERO movement after getting shot. Perfect combination of good ammo and shot placement. That’s not to take away from all the kills, but those last four kills got their button pushed immediately! Fantastic video!

I agree with your night hunting bent. Thermal hunting at night is way too much fun to waste bullets during the day.

trying to get a manners here is slow as hell too. try searching their in stock stocks ready to ship, then buy the action that fits them. its faster than ordering it custom by far.

I like the idea of the 115's out of a 308 win. What distance did you zero at? I imagine it has a pretty flat trajectory. Do you usually just run a point blank zero method with thermals? Or try to compensate for drop somehow?
I run 110v max and varmageddons 3500fps in .3”s from a factory fn spr..24” heavy Macmillan stock..them and my 95gr 6.5prc v max are nasty…gave ol buddy $1300 for this fn and handloads or 168gmm will stay .5” to .3” long as you keep barrel clean…

Been looking for a traditional style stock suit AI action, M2013 action offers same bolt throw as AI and possibility to use my fav rem 700 style trigger, not sure why its taken me so long to come across M2013 action. Use GSCI thermal which contacts 2 lug 90 degree actions, 3 lug 60 degree is simple choice.
The third coyote looked like they had an prior injury with that hobble? Did you check out what that was?

Really hard to judge the shot distance with the fog and magnification unknown. Can you mention some distances in the future? Very nice weapon! Love the videos!
he said all his shots are under 300yrds. it's all point blank style shooting, put the dot on em and squeeze! it's the type of hunting i have been doing for 25 years, it's a fairly close range style of hunting. he knows the layout of his spread so he knows that the animal is within point blank range when he sees it enter his kill zone. night hunters have a kill zone that they mark out or mark with led lites or just use their memory of the layout of their kill zone. nite hunting is the most addictive hunting that there is. it's fuking unreal, you can hear a mouse fart at 300yrds it's so quiet at nite. calls are used at very low sound because the sound travels so far in the dead of the night. when the sun sets and the fields and forests are dark it's a whole other world. it's a really spiritual experience, very zen like. it also hones a hunters skill into legendary status.
You can still get that stock from manners, for a Remington sa.. that action is nice but not necessary! I’m doing a build with this stock .. it now has an adjustable cheek piece! I’m using a defiance ruckus action and a proof 20 inch, carbon wrapped bull barrel! The accuracy of a rifle , is in the barrel mostly.. it should be at least as accurate, if not better..
I’ve talked with manners personally and that specific chassis is not available! Now they do offer the CS2 with gen2 mini chassis and I’m assuming that’s what you got, best of luck with your build.

The footage near the hay bale and cows, what were the conditions, looked kinda weird hazy and the animals had a frosted look, like light rain maybe?
Humidity was high and I was shooting kinda uphill, certain angles give off a different image sometimes
